Oh, and Barry was 24 when he got his powers and became Flash, Hal was 26 when he got the ring and became GL.

Well that's all fine and dandy for Hal but I think that's a little young for Barry, being a forensic scientist and all. Probably a pretty seasoned one at that.
Meh. Not hard to figure out who they want to be Carol Ferris, is it?![]()
Am I the only one or do those drawings look like David Boreanaz and Carla Gugino? Who I think actually would be awesome in the respective roles.
Who is it, Guard?
I didn't recognise her.
I agree.Hal should be at least in his early 30's.
He'll have to be old enough to convincingly train to be an air force pilot, stay there for a while then sent a year or more as a test pilot for Ferris Air.
One of the first things I thought when I saw Routh was that he looked more like Kyle Rayner than Superman. Whether or not WB would let him anywhere near a GL film is debatable.Green Lantern is a bit of a strech but I wouldn't mind seeing Eckhart recycled as Aquaman. He was my Aquaman casting choice long before he got his Harvey Dent role. Eckhart's role in the Nolan-verse is over so appearing again in the new and improved, everything and everybody is related WB superhero universe is possible.
On a similar note regarding Green Lantern and recycled actors, how about..

It's not fair for Brandon to get the short end of the stick because of Singer's poor ideas. If Brandon won't be back as Supes he at least deserves consideration for GL. He's as asset to the studio not a liability.![]()

Looks a lot like Jennifer Connelly to me. At least it did the other day. Hal looks like they took David Boreanaz's basic features.
But what happens when Bale as Batman meets Eckhart as Aquaman?
It's not debatable. It makes absolutely no sense to cast him as GL when he already played Superman. That's just moronic, and the same goes for the notion of Eckhart playing this role.
Really? You're gonna compare playing iconic superhero roles to police officers in film? Very weak argument. You're basing your opinion solely on zealous fanboyism, thinking one character is taking over another character's persona and not as an actor being used to play another role in a similar genre (ie if an actor plays a police officer in one movie, he can play another police officer in a different movie, right?)
I couldn't care less. There are plenty of other actors out there who have the chops and looks to play the role. Why in the world would you want to re-use an actor who has played one of the most famous batvillains in the most popular comic book film to date?Another thing to consider is that the Singer/Donner storyline is now officially done and gone and until determined to be otherwise, the Nolan-verse is an entity into and of itself so there will be no overlapping.
