Eddie Redmayne wants to play The Riddler

I just don’t like him as an actor.

Anyways, take it to the Riddler casting thread in the Batman forums.

I still don't see what other people see in him as an actor. He's always been pretty flat to me outside of Jupiter Ascending, and I definitely wouldn't want him as Riddler.

You didn't like him in The Theory Of Everything? I thought he was absolutely amazing in that movie.

Nope, same wobbling lip blandness for me. He never really makes me feel anything in his performances, and it always feels like an overly calculated performance rather than something natural. Except Jupiter Ascending. He's the best part of that movie. I love him in that movie.

Although he does look the part, I don’t like that dry mouth mf’s acting.

(?)

Redmayne would be an awesome Riddler; I’ve always wanted him in the role.

I hated his acting in the Fantastic Beasts movies, very unlikeable actor.

I’d like Bill Hader to play Riddler

Daniel Radcliffe should play the Riddler. We all know this.

He was. He obviously has talent.

But I still don't like him. There's something about him that makes me want him to quit the business.

I'd agree with this. Theory of Everything and The Danish Girl both feel like very meticulous physical performances without emotional depth. Alicia Vikander's performance in The Danish Girl is far more impassioned and emotional than Redmayne's.

It's funny seeing Eddie Redmayne and Jamie Doran on Variety's Actors on Actors reminisce sharing an apartment when they were struggling actors in LA a decade ago.

Auditioning for everything and not getting very few roles. Andrew Garfield also rented a place with them.

Robert Pattison, Tom Sturridge and Charlie Cox were also part of their whole struggling 20 something UK actors friend circle.

Redmayne probably a little jealous that his friends got to play Spider-Man, Batman and Daredevil.
