I didn't think he'd be in it...I always suspected that the Hulk would be in it though. Either a quick fight with Iron Man or just a cameo at the end credits. IE...Tony and Fury and looking at a holding cell where a raging Hulk wants out.

Favreau also said that Samuel Jackson wouldn't appear in Iron Man as Nick Fury but look with what happened there.

I am not saying that Norton will appear in Iron Man 2, I am just trying to look at this from both angles knowing that Marvel had a lot of secrecy with the Nick Fury thing.

I don't think this is a case of Marvel deceiving people again... if they wanted this top secret they would have taken every precaution to keep this 99.9% sealed. We wouldn't even hear Norton talk about anything, yet we have had direct quotes saying he is not involved. Is Marvel really telling these guys to deny everything? Plus we haven't heard from the noob or Nuke the Fridge since so I think that's that. Not begrudging anybody, it was an enticing rumor that gave us something to talk about, and while I think we will get something, I'll be shocked if it's Norton.

Finally, we more or less knew that Ed Norton would not be making a cameo in Iron Man 2 (persistent rumor suggests Bruce Banner or the Hulk might appear in the film, to set up The Avengers) and Favreau agreed that Norton is not in the film.

Anyway, with everything going on and them needing to tease Thor, I think it's smart that they look forward and not back. Hulk may play a key part in Avengers but everyone already knows everything about that character. Why not tease and link the unknown quantities?

I hope the Hulk or Abomination appears in some way but has nothing to do with the storyline... like Stan Lee in Iron Man. People who dont understand it will just be... wondering why the shot sticks out

I think Thor made an interesting cameo in The Incredible Hulk because the news reporter was talking about a severe thunderstorm. Sounds like Thor's arrival to me.

I wouldn't mind seeing a screen with a blueprint of the Hulkbuster Armor with a file screen of Banner next to it, instead of Banner making a cameo.

I'd rather it be something subtle because it could show him having different armor designs in mind for different threats or needs.

Well, TIH has more than one easter egg scene, i bet with the whole Avengers franchise thing Marvel is going for, theres gonna be loads of easter eggs in Ironman 2, Thor and Cap...

If Banner's not in IM2 then you should appear after the credits of 'Thor' since it looks like we'll have a nice chunk of the movie on Midgard.

Lordy I hope so. I totally think Marvel and Norton are up to something. Almost exactly a year ago he's like "oh I'm so in the dark with all the info I'm out of the loop, Marvel's got this notion of collecting its characters, I've got no idea" and now he's all "Hm, I think I'll let them say..." and "Marvel's cross-pollination is sooooo awesome"

Then MTV just asked for an update like today and he's like "Nope, nothing new yet!" Not "I have no idea, they haven't contacted me" or anything negative like that.

I'm sure they've had a meeting or something by now.
