Effectslab Pro or After Effects?

We can get access to After Effects, but we were thinking of buying Effectslab Pro...... Ive seen what you can do with Effectslab pro can achieve the same stuff with after effects?

I have no idea about that, but I haven't come across something that I can't do in After Effects. AE is my favorite program out there. It's so much fun. I am going to assume that, because I have never heard of Effectslab Pro and neither has anyone I've worked with, that After Effects is more popular. If it is more popular, I assume it is more popular for a reason.

but we ended up buying the effects lab pro........it works fantastic....very simple and easy to add particle effects

Effects Lab is fine for now if you're a noob. But if you ever want to try and add in more complex effects to your films, you'll wish you'd gone with After Effects.
