I'm tired of people ***** footing around with Islam. It's about as peaceful as the old testament. There's lots of "moderate" Muslims but 90% of the Muslims in the Middle East are crazy.

The show got pulled because it was not well received. It is the basic principals of capitalism - if there is no market for your product, it is not going to be sold.

These shows weren't directly pulled by the religous groups, they were pulled by the networks. While it is true that religous groups put a lot of pressure on networks to censor, that is their right. Freedom of speech lets them do this no matter how annoying it can be to some of us.

I am against Universal Medicare though because it causes many problems in Canada. You have Canadians coming into America for certain types of surgeries - sometimes life saving - because the waiting lists are so long in Canada. Also you have no medical breakthroughs coming out from Canada like you do in America - because of their system. Nationalizing industries rarely works - look at Public Schools in America.

All Children should be protected by Government insurance - outside of that it is the responsibility of the person. It sounds cold, but thats capitalism.

Because one country is more extreme than another it's fine to repress freedom of speech and lock up an innocent man?

Well I guess by that logic guantanamo bay was fine because the chinese have systematically executed the half the population of tibet over religious beliefs. America only locked people up and tortured them without trial so by comparison it's perfectly reasonable

Or how about the treatment of iraqi prisoners at abu ghraib? Sadam was executing people on a whim before so smearing **** all over prisoners, beating and humiliating people, these are all fine by comparison?
