This is a genuine question not meant to appear smartassed - are you guys in relationships, do you have full time jobs, and have you kept up with other hobbies? I'd love to be at a higher level, this is genuinely the most time consuming game I've ever played lol. But I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong compared to you high level people!

I'm on a break from school. I hang out with my friends all night and play Skyrim all day. Once school starts up the first of the year believe you me my Skyrim days will be cut short.

Just got through playing around with some enchanting and some amazing things have happened. I enchanted a ring, necklace and gauntlets with two handed enchantments with 38% 25% and 43% respectively. My Daedric warhammer now does 250 damage, plus an additional 30 points of frost damage. I'm just so happy!

lol they didn't even bother patching the Infinite XP glitch, they just broke the bookshelves so it can't be done.

yup, they dont tell you they stack. I rock 40% ring, necklace, gauntlets, feet. But one handed. from 80 to 209. on top of that I added 20 point life drain and frost damage. I pretty much never have to heal in battle because i get 20 points of life per hit.

Nope, i have nothing even remotely close to a relationship, all of my friends have graduated and moved out of state, my place of work was shut down so I'm currently unemployed and am not doing any other hobbies at the moment and I'm only a level 35, so I'm extra pathetic.

Heh, reminds me of, "You're not married, you haven't got a girlfriend, and you've never watched Star Trek? Good lord..."

Except replace "and you haven't watched Star Trek" with "and you're not even level 40". :P

Well being an unemployed, part-time student helps. :csad:

Does your marriage in Skyrim count as a relationship?

Beat King chuckabooboo Dragon.

Now... Just side quests I guess.

There's always the war...the 'other' main quest.

I've been steering clear of the war so far, apart from once when I wandered through a Stormcloak camp and they took exception to it. They'd have lived if they just let me wander by without attacking.

Yeah, I finished up the Civil War before the "finale" main story quest.

Watching the opening of the game, the Imperials come across as real *****enozzles. I wanna be a good guy who fights for honour and all that good stuff. Who's side should I be on in the civil war?

Yeah, Ulfric is a *****e. In my game, his dead body went into an awkward position after being killed.

Here's the backstory in a nutshell.

Since the last Septim died during the Oblivion Crisis, the Empire has been weak. The Aldmeri Dominion waged war against the Empire, the two settled the war with the White-Gold Concordant, one of the conditions of it was that Tiber Septim, Talos, would no longer be recognized as one of the Nine Divines. The Nords of Skyrim don't like this since Tiber Septim was a Nord. With the Empire weak, Ulfric Stormcloak decided that Skyrim should become independent, so he killed the High King of Skyrim.

This part is kind of spoilery. If you don't want spoilers, play the College of Winterhold and main quest to learn about the Aldmeri Dominion. You will make up your opinion of them during this.

The Empire does not like being controlled by the Aldmeri Dominion. However, they are only going along with them because they are not in the position to fight them. They first need to settle the Civil War in Skyrim to have a chance at that. Ulfric Stormcloak is really just an egomaniac, he thinks that an independent Skyrim would be strong. The reality is that if the Empire loses Skyrim, it will be even weaker and have no chance of defeating the Aldmeri Dominion later. And when that happens, Skyrim will likely fall to them as well. In one of the main quest missions, you learn from a document that the Aldmeri Dominion want the Empire to lose to the Stormcloaks so they can fully take over the Empire.

I joined the Stormcloaks because I simply did not give two ****s about the Civil War. They were the first ones I bumped into

My character wants no part in politics, so after saving the world he kind of just wanders about getting into adventures.

Elemental Fury + Berserker Rage is a potent mix.

Why is the selection of Light Armor so ******?

Of the types you can build early on, only Leather looks decent. After that, only Glass and Dragonscale look good, and both look more like Heavy Armor. Granted there is the Nightingale Armor, Shrouded Armor, and Thieves Guild Armor that look good but nothing you can build yourself looks that good. I wish they kept Mithril Armor from Oblivion.

Man, Daedric armor looks so awesomesauce. <3

PS. Whats the best way to level enchanting? So far i'm just using Petty Soul gems on random items, but any superior ways?
