I love sneak attacking people. I hit one guy in the head and the force of the impact made him double back flip over a ledge and off the side of a cliff. It was the funniest thing i'd seen in awhile. lol

Yeah there is. Whiterun, Windhelm and Winterhold. lol

Only spent about 2 days with my Nord beserker type character, but I'm already kind of bored with him. I'm only specialized in like 3 skills (2-handed, smithing, heavy armor). My sneak rating sucks so doing Thieves Guild or other stealthy missions are annoying since I'm detected so easily. I started my Dark Elf character. He'll be more fun since I'll be trying more different things (magic, enchanting, archery).

I finally got my 1st/main character hitched, wow, what a disappointing turn out of guests to the wedding. Considering how many people I've helped and traveled with in the last 4 months or so (game time) you'd think some more significant faces would have made an appearance, but instead I got two people I didn't recognize and Mjoll the Lioness.

Man, 1.3 is taking too long to get here (consoles). The fact that my Nord still has to cower in fear of ice spells is stupid.

Been playing it off and on, and finally got a lycan Redguard and the Ring of Hircine! Awww Yeeaa

Don't overdo it. You're going to end up a higher level guy with low-level combat and armor skills who gets killed a lot, despite your shiny new armor.

I waited until I was like level 30 to start the Smithing/Enchanting grind to get the best weapons/armor.

Heh..that was EXACTLY what happened with my 1st character on my 1st playtrough...good advice!

So, another question to those who hasn't finished the main mission yet...

What was your toughest fight so far? to me it was with Potema. i was around level 15 and didn't expect THAT kinda fight.

Between dodging her frostblasts, being swamped with Draughr, and fighting TWO Draughr deathlords...

17-18, something like that. I've just been smithing away iron daggers to get my skills up.

I'm around the same level and I got to that level by actually playing the game.

I mean, isn't the whole point to explore, and feel yourself get more powerful as you play?

The point is to play it however you like. That's the beauty of these type of games.

So what race did everyone start off with? I picked Breton simply bc that what I was in Oblivion but Im thinking of restarting bc I was reading that Imperial is better for a mage/warrior gameplay which is what Im more interested in and Bretons are more defensive mages

First was a "do everything" Imperial like I was in Oblivion.

Second was a Nord Beserker, got a little boring, I'll have to finish it later.

Third (and current) is a Dark Elf rogue. Having a lot of fun with him.

I started with an Orc, tired but deleted an Argonian. I have a Breton mage started and currently leveling a Kahjit (which just might be my favorite race).

I went with Nord. Got a pretty bad ass Robin Hood thing going. Got extremely high bow skills and one handed sword skills. This has prob been my fav character iv created in any of these RPG's.

I really need to level up and get some Sneak perks. Had to quicksave and load a lot in the Thalmor Embassy main quest. Having Shrouded armor and stuff would have helped but I'm trying to pace myself on doing major quests.

I'm an all around Nord. I have Heavy Armor, One-Handed, Smithing, and Enchanting all at 100. Now I'm working on Light Armor, Archery, Sneak, and Two-Handed. I've also had plenty of Restoration and Destruction magic thrown in. Level 51 right now.

I'm doing the battle for Windhelm right now, and the game keeps freezing as I get close to the door to the throne room. I've had to reset my xbox 3 times...

About the same... Only I'm doing two handed weapons.. I don't have much of anything to do with magic.

I started with a Nord who relies on steel, never magic, other than when you have to use Shouts in the main quest. He has pretty high sneak, uses a bow really well and duel swords even better. Not necessarily a "sneaky" character, but it does come in handy when ambushing bandits.

Second was a Khajiit mage/thief who I've done a little with, went straight for the college and ignored the dragon/main quests.

Third is an Orc who spent time hunting and smithing until joining up with The Companions. No magic on this guy either, I like him though, no sneaking, just straight in there with sword and shield.

So Dawnstar is fast on becoming a dragon graveyard in my second character's world. So far I've killed 10 dragons in the town, all right at the fast travel entrance. You'd think they'd see the pile of skeletons of their kin littering the ground and think "Maybe I shouldn't be here..."

so...any word on when the next set of patches will be released? and if they will further correct the PS3 issues?
