I probably will be doing that. I just want to experience the thrill of Adoring Fan abuse in a hands on way so to speak. Only thing I would regret is not being able to FUS RO DAH! the annoying prat off a mountain top.

Personally, i would get either FO 3 and/or FO;NV before getting Oblivion.

It would takes some real getting used to going from Skyrim to Oblivion...gameplay wise.

I think the face sculptor comes with Hearthfire. I installed Dawnstar and played for a while but I didn't get the news about a face sculptor until I spoke to an innkeeper after I'd installed Hearthfire.
I've been away from Skyrim for quite a while...whats the face sculptor?

I haven't installed Hearthfire yet but I have heard about the face sculpter. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the guy to start the mission!

Meh not really. The combat isn't much worse than it is in Skyrim, and everything else is pretty similar otherwise apart from the leveling system.

After u install Dawnguard u can visit the Face Sculptor in Riften. Shes located in the Thieves Guild hangout. It allows you to redo your characters looks.

Sony Says That They’ve Been “Working Closely” With Bethesda to Get Skyrim DLC Working on the PS3

People who bought Skyrim for the PS3 are pissed. And you can't necessarily blame them.

First, they get a version of Bethesda's hit action/RPG release that became increasingly unplayable. Then, PS3 owners had to endure news that they may not even get the Dawnguard DLC that Xbox 360 users got back at the end of June. The Dawnguard troubles make it all too easy to believe that Hearthfire's home-building features may never make it to the PS3 either.

So, yeah, if you're a PS3 who wants all that Skyrim magic on your console, you might feel cursed. Sony VP Adam Boyes feels your pain.

Boyes handles publisher relations for Sony, which means he interfaces with third-party developers. He's new there, having arrived about three, four months ago. But he knew all about the Skyrim woes when I asked him about the game after he spoke at the New York Gaming Conference this week. He took a deep breath before replying.

"We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems," Boyes answered. "We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda—and with all of our partners—to work with them to solve that any sort of issues they have along the way."

"Of course, I always want everything to work always for everyone. I can't promise any kind of resolution or timeline but can say that everyone involved is trying their best to get this stuff working."

Speaking of Dawnguard i just found some awesome armor at Fort Dawnguard. I dont know why i never found it when i first went through there.

I swear if I didn't have the simulated violence of video games like Skyrim to help me vent out my anger lately I'd be in a very bad state right now.

I just wish there was an annoying companion like the Adoring fan in Skyrim that I could enjoy killing over an over again.

Haha its just the standard Dawnguard armor but without the sleeves and then i found this cool full faced Dawnguard helmet. Again, i dont know how i missed it i mean its the standard DG equipment. Guess i just didn't pay attention the first time i did that quest line.

Oh..i got those from the big guy...i forgot his name! remembering these Nord names is such a hassle sometimes...

Technically you could get the jester guy to follow you and f*** him up on occasion. I know I did. :yay:

I have a special weapon for Cicero myself when he annoys me. It's a Daedric warhammer that does fire damage. I call it the "Hammer of Shut Up Cicero". I whack him with it when he gets on my nerves.

So noone else had a problem speaking with Garan from Dawnguard? Annoying as I can't progress at all and was enjoying it.

Never really had any issues with Dawnguard, besides getting lost in the Underground and Forgotten vale.

Lakeview Manor in the Hearthfire DLC is pretty screwed up though. It keeps freezing every few minutes. The Gamefaqs boards say there's no current fix so I moved to my #2 choice Windstad manor. Stupid Giant killed my cow.

Hmmm...I am in the Dark Brotherhood and did spare Cicero so this is a possibility. But unlike the Adoring Fan I kind of like Cicero. He has that whole Mark Hammill Joker vibe in his favor with me. Maybe in future Elder Scrolls games we can see a return proper of the Adoring Fan?

Concerning the Dark Brotherhood I have to say they are a really fun bunch guild to work for. I am psyched about "borrowing" Shadowmere from Astrid. All I need now is the Daedric Armor again to make the look complete when I ride him/her. I'm taking a break from the storyline though to level myself up to 50 before utilizing Cicero as a follower. I have to say my most amusing kill has got to be the horrible Orc Minstrel with that awful singing voice.

P.S. I read on an Elder Scrolls wiki that Shadowmere can die if taking a lot of damage but will respawn in the pool he materialized from after 10 days have passed in game being that he/she is a Daedric horse.

He can die but he doesn't come back :waa:. I'm pissed about that

I feel bad I killed Cicero on my Dark Brotherhood character. :(

Everyone always does.

Now the Wiki says that Shadowmere will regenerate in 15 gaming days in the pool near the Falkreath Sanctuary though if you updated the PS3 version of the game.

That said I kind of lost Shadowmere. I rode her to a quest and she ran off on me and I can't find her anywhere. I did not see her die

P.S. These videos have me laughing:

Okay..so i've finally finished Dawnguard. Took a little while, because i was doing other side quests along Dawnguard-which is also one of the reason why i love this DLC. It didn't take place in some separate area. You can take your time with it.

Anyway, having finished it,and thinking about the earlier complaint about the DLC...i honestly can't see what people were complaining about, content wise. The complaint about 'the size' of the DLC now just seems silly. Some of the area added were freakin'huge! the forgotten valley comes to mind!

Guess some people were confused about the meaning of DLC..it's CONTENT not CONTINENT

Anyway..love how the story somehow tied to the Falmers...the elves formerly known as the snow elves! Always were one of my favourite myth/storyline...along with the Dwemer. The falmer hidden village in the forgotten valley was just freakin'amazing! very well designed...and the climb to get there, reminds me of the looong climb in the Pitt.

But to me personally, the real payoff to this DLC is Serena. I'm a huge fan of having followers around. And Finally beth gets it right this time! finally a follower with real personality and not just a pack mule...and this time with some real connection to your character through some well done dialoques.

And now..to the bad thing.

I gotta say..i'm real dissapointed learning the true history of how the Falmers came to be. I always thought them to be appealing because of their tragic story...native folks, chased by the Nords, forced to make a deal with the Dwemer to help them which in turn betrayed them.Forced to live in dark caves underground which rendered them slowly blind..and turn them into monstrosity we all love!

Anyway..that was what i always believed to be their story..and now i've learned that;
The Dwemer forced them to take toxins that blinds them

WTF!!11!!:cmad:

That said..still absolutely love this DLC. MORE than worth the 20 Euro's i paid for:yay:

Have you tried fast traveling? Whenever I 'misplace' a follower, I just fast travel (usually to the location I'm already at, or closest to) and they appear next to me.

I did that numerous times, and I fast traveled to all the stables and no Shadowmere. I'm thinking he/she got themself killed at Foldor's Tooth but I can't be too sure because I didn't see it happen. What I need is to learn that spell and/or Thu'um that allows you to see where allies and enemies are in your vicinity so if Shadowmere is just standing around somewhere I can find him. If he's nowhere to be found he's gotten himself killed and is waiting to respawn in the pool after a month's time in game I suppose. I wish they'd make it easier to call your horses to you, of course since I own all the horses in Skyrim it would be a stampede.
