I'm not wrong in that, in the beginning of the trailer the ship is moving, am I? I assume it's from the intro when you first travel to Solstheim, much like the carriage ride to your would-be execution. Nice to see the ships in Tamriel actually do move though!

Solstheim is an island to the east of Skyrim. I believe it showed up in the game Morrowind. Seems that we'll be catching a ship there in order to go deal out some Dragonborn style justice.

Basically, it's a whole new are to explore and have adventures in!

I got massive chills when the Dragonborn mounted the Dragon. Definitely purchasing this first thing.

Solstheim is the setting of the second expansion for Morrowind (and now Skyrim).

And Rieklings are odd goblin-like creatures that ride around on boars.

Edit: Beaten.

Ohh i like those goblins. I shall have much fun splitting them in twain with my sword.

I think the only thing I'm a bit iffy about is the dragon riding... because I have my doubts it will actually work to any successful degree. :p

But other than that, the trailer looked amazing. New landmass to wander around is very much welcome and the Dragonborn on Dragonborn violence just sounds awesome.

I can't wait for this! When does it come out?

The new armour looks amazing!

This DLC sounds amazing, the idea of an evil Dragonborn returning is awesome!

I don't want to get my hopes up, but the Rieklings in that screenshot I posted above are holding spears...

I sure hope the player can ride the boar too.

Jesus, I have the most raging of boners for this DLC right now...

If the Rieklings can use spears it's a fair bet the player will be able to as well. That's pretty exciting, I wonder if it will have a new skill tree.

If that be the case, I know what I'll be using mostly :)

Man do I hope this comes to the PS3. This is the DLC I want the most.

If the NPC's can ride boars..i'm sure the player will be able to as well. Same with using spears.

LOL...it sure does looks awesome, isn't it

One thing though, according to the trailer, the 1st Dragonborn is a male, and looks like a former Dragonpriest( which explains the mask)...but isn't st Alessia the 1st Dragonborn?

Yes and no. According to The Elder Scrolls Wiki:

"Near the end of her reign, as Alessia lay dying, she was visited by Lorkhan, called Shezarr in Cyrodiil.[3] He brought with him a pact from Akatosh, the chief of all gods, for Alessia. Akatosh infused Alessia with his own divine blood, then had Shezarr place her soul into the newly formed Amulet of Kings. Akatosh then sealed off the planes of Oblivion, which keeps the Aedra and Daedra from ever walking Nirn again. Alessia's soul was bound to this seal, as Akatosh vowed: as long as an heir of his and Alessia's joined blood sat on the throne of Cyrodiil, and wore the Amulet of Kings, the seal will remain in place and Tamriel would be safe from Oblivion."

From what I can gather, Alessia received the divine blood of Akatosh but didn't really have time to run around being a Dovahkin. It also says she was the first human saint, so I guess Alessia was something else entirely. She still had the dragon blood, but her purpose was different.

In other news, my house building is going well. The wife has just moved in (or she will, when she shows up) and Lydia is now my steward. Next I have to head to Windhelm to find some fellow who's trying to summon the Dark Brotherhood -I need to talk to them about why they keep sending their people after me, and he seems like the only link around. Once the assassin business is done, I can adopt some kids, return home and begin properly furnishing the place.

It's nice to have something to spend the gold on, rather than having it constantly mounting up for no reason.

^^ Ah yes, now i remember...she was already dying when she received Akatosh's divine blood.I remember being intriqued by her story...how she was called queen-slave and everything. There was also a statue of her in the Imperial city if i remember correctly...

Heh...i've just started building my home near Falkreath. Lydia is my wife and Serana is also with me, along with some other companions.

I won't get excited for this DLC until I hear that all the DLC is coming to PS3......and that they won't break the game again.

then I might be tempted to pick the game up again and venture back into the world of Skyrim.

How is the Falkreath home?

After doing some reading, I went with the one in The Pale. I really like the location and it suits my character a lot, but I have no idea how the others compare.
