Elder Scrolls V

Thanks. I want to Nexus earlier too and found a number of mods. I tried the 'Dark Nemesis Armor' first. Because that adds re-textured standalone armors of the regular Ebony set, plus the Mail version. But it turned out it didn't look that hot up close. So I ended up installing the version you posted, plus aMidianBorn's texture replacer.

I want to start a Vampire character. :awesome:

I don't think that particular vampire is lore friendly.

Screw the lore! Kain is on Nexus too. :woot:

He's even less lore friendly! Although time traveling vampires wouldn't be out of place in the ES games.

Lame! I discovered that there is an Ebony Mail armor in the game. Which is just a sleeker version of the regular Ebony armor. But in order to get it, you have to become Boethiah's champion. F**k you, Daedric Lords.

I don't know which quest is worse, Namira's Ring (Ew! Cannibalism!), Molog Bal's Mace (Kill the nice Order of Stendarr guy and bludgeon a follower of Boethiah to death plus there's that Morrowind incident.) or Boethiah's Ebony Armor.

The next game needs to either give you the option to properly fail these quests, by having your character say "F**k off!" or be able to simply cancel them. I hate having my Quest Log cluttered with quests that I refuse to do, because my character would never do them.

And I think the Cannibal Quest is the worst, because it adds to your character's backstory that you have tasted human flesh before, but repressed the memories, and you have no say in it.

Well, I have yet to start that quest but I've killed three of the Markarth cannibals that reveal themselves in the end. I get their trust and infiltrate their secret base and then use the Ebony Blade to kill the rest of the cannibals. I'm trying to figure out how I can do this without killing that Priest of Arkay though, maybe kill them before they sacrifice him?

Yeah, I think I read that's how you do it. You bring them the Priest and then slaughter them all before they have the chance to sacrifice him.

I will have to remember that because that priest is a decent magic user. I'm currently utilizing the skills of Marcurio right now.

Well, I've been using Blaze of Eventide a lot and it struck me that attackers who go after that horse are really dumb, especially when it sets then on fire and if they do enough damage will explode killing all or most of whenever is dumb enough to inflict damage upon him. I have to watch where I am so I'm not caught within the blast radius.

I am having way too much fun with the custom Shout The Call Of Madnes. There's nothing more satisfying than defeating enemies with exploding wheels of cheese.

Couldn'tfind TES Online thread.. But hhere's some info on the character creator.

Yea i hate that. Here i am, this ultra bad ass dude with the soul of a dragon and i cant tell these puny gods to f**k off. Really hope they add more options for the next title.

I'm just waiting for them to release Elder Scrolls Online. I am really wanting to purchase it and play as an Argonian. I do feel really sorry for anyone that will choose the Aldmeri Dominion as their faction though because they'll have two other factions trying to attack them.

After all the mods from the fan community, I can't imagine playing Elders Scroll Online. It doesn't look bad, but I'll miss being able to download new weapon and armor packs, or even complete gameplay overhauls.

hey guys, is there any way to change your character's appearance after you start the game?

If you have Dawnguard installed, you can find Galathil the Face Sculpture in the Ragged Flagon, below Riften.

ah thanks!

does it cost money ( in game ) to use the face changing feature?

ah, thanks!

and speaking of Elder Scrolls Online, it looks like their character creator is even more detailed than Skyrim's, and the face designs look better, from what I've seen.

Hopefully, they will continue to use the new character creator in future single player Elder Scrolls games, like VI.

Yeah, I thought that character creator was pretty impressive, especially for an MMO. I would like to see it integrated in future games as well.

yeah, it would be a shame if the creator and face designs for the next single player ES game felt like a step backwards........lol

if anything, you'd think they'd be able to devote more resources towards a better creator in a single play game since they won't have to worry about the online/MMO/mp stuff.

also, I do like the "classes" in ES Online ( Nightblade, Sorcerer, etc. ) and I'd like to see those ( and the class skills ) incorporated into ES VI.

However, I hope they go back to the system in Skyrim where you aren't restricted by a particular class and are free to customize your character's skill to your liking.

Really? I need to see this.
