Agreed Raven, hopefully they integrate this into future single player Elder Scrolls games. And maybe improve it even more for ES VI!

So I have picked up playing Oblivion again and I have been doing the quest for Umaril's relics. So far I have the helm and the Cuirass and have started the quest for the shield. I have to say I love questing for this armor set as it makes it rather interesting to piece together as an adventure.

Skyrim Coming To Xbox One, PS4?

That's what Bethesda's official site for the game says, at least, with listings for the next-gen platforms now displayed alongside those of the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC editions of the fifth Elder Scrolls game.

At time of writing the listing was still there; whether it's a mistake or an inadvertent early reveal, who knows. We've contacted Bethesda, and will update if we hear back.

And it's a safe assumption it'll come with all the DLC too. I'd do it, but mainly for any graphical improvement. Skyrim with nice graphics and no load times? Amazing.

Maybe they took a page or two out of the awesome mods people created. Some of the ones out there are ridiculously good.

Granted some of them are running on incredibly powerful custom computers.

I doubt it. I'm sure they're just gonna repackage the PC version, slap an xbox one and ps4 logo on it and make a few quick and easy bucks

Granted that this is for Skyrim, but I just bought Oblivion for my PS3 and the game just freezes far too much. Like every couple of minutes. Is this normal for the game or do I have a defective copy?

I only had it on 360 but I never had that issue. Did you try un/reinstalling?

They're doing it for a bunch of games due to the lack of decent ones so far. If they did on for Deadly Premonition then I'd consider getting one.

PS3 had specific problems with it but I don't know how bad it was (didn't play it on PS3 myself).

Checked Gamefaqs and they suggested clearing the cache every 20-30 hours in.

It'll never happen. Bethesda can't use mods to sell their game and mod creators can't make money off of their mods since it uses Bethesda's assets.

If Skyrim gets a Xbone or PS4 release, it'd just be a GOTY edition with higher res textures. Nothing else would be different from the 360 or PS3 versions.

well, in a way, that's better.

because I'm more interested in a next gen Elder Scrolls VI than a remaster of Skyrim.

hopefully, in VI, they take a page from the character creator in ES Online, which seems to be more robust than the creator in Skyrim.
