Daredevil Elektra/Matt or Karen/Matt?

I think Matt/Elektra are the hottest, complex, most fun, and the best couple in the MCU. After seeing them together it really emphasizes how forced and what a joke Nat/Bruce were.

I personnaly think that Karen can also date qith the Punisher or Foggy, there is nothing special with Matt.

On the contrary there is something special between Elektra and Matt, and she gave her life for him ! I hope Matt to save her from her devil side in next season.

Matt and Elektra. He's the angel on her shoulder and she's the devil on his. It makes for a great dynamic and the sexual tension is over 9,000.

Elektra is, without any kind of doubt, the perfect pairing for the Man without Fear. She understand everything Daredevil is... on the other hand, she's pretty terrible for Matt Murdock. She's absolutely the worst possible choice for the blind lawyer, his career, and his "civil life", unlike Karen (but, even if we haven't seen how she can deal with "Daredevil", it's pretty safe to say that she will be far from Elektra)

That's the problem of having a dual life, you can't have the perfect partner.

I agree with this sentiment. I'd even place Jane/Thor underneath Nat/Bruce.

The Bartons are cute. I also personally liked Bruce/Betty in TIH.

Tony/Pepper are kinda midrange. Sorta like Matt/Karen.

^ Amen, although, admittedly, I think Elektra has a bit of the same dynamic here as Natasha has in the comics.

Well, definitely not Karen and Matt. I don't think Karen and Matt had very good chemistry. I think Foggy and Karen actually have better chemistry

Here I thought Jessica Jones and Luke Cage were hot, but Matt/Elektra surpassed their hotness and everything for me.

The Bartons are sweet, but they don't belong in the MCU, they belong in a Christian Lifetime movie.

Me too I loved Bruce/Betty in TIH.

QUIT STALKING AND HARASSING ME. CREEPY. :loco: You've been doing this for a while now.
You're in the same forum, it isn't weird to see someone give you response often.

I don't care much about with who he ends up, but Karen seemed more healthy for his normal life and now he showed her who he really is.

Same forum, really? :o

No it's not weird to see a few people give me responses often, but it's the type of responses which are creepy for this user to constantly hound me about a particular matter numerous times to the point that it feels like they're stalking and harassing me.

For myself? I honestly never got the Elektra thing at all, and it's not that I dislike the femme fatale badgirls, it's just in the comics I can't say she's anything more than that. Plus... She's just no good for Matt. It can sometimes feel like Matt is obsessed with Elektra for all the wrong reasons, and it may even be the "doomed" to be apart thing that keeps him longing for her. But... That's more about the comics, where I have found Elektra too bland and generally uninteresting from the beginning if I really think about it. As for the show... Well I can't say that I have done a total 180, that said, Elodie is certainly entertaining in the part, full of sensuality and wit, and charm... But again. it's apparent to me that Matt is metaphorically blinded by strong feelings that don't take into account a lot of good reasons why this could never work long term. I do suppose that in matters of the heart that's how it is for a lot of human beings.

Karen and Matt on the show? I disagree. What we are seeing with them is the first timid steps, as Dr. Frank Castle, relationship specialist pointed out, there is something there, and like Karen said, the ingredients are all present. I think for sure Matt NEEDS a person like Karen in his life for the better. The words "for the better" and Elektra just shouldn't be in the same sentence. Without a doubt the "heat" that Matt has with Elektra eclipses that which he has with Karen but, I think as you get older you realize that "heat" is far from the most important part of a relationship. I vote Karen and Matt.

Matt & Elektra. As a viewer, their relationship is more entertaining to watch.

I totally agree with all the Matt+Elektra comments, only it doesn't really feel like Matt loves her anymore.

He seems to actually mean it when he's over her, so the attraction felt really one-sided to me.

The flashback episode was the first time I realized how destructive Matt & Elektra's relationship was. They really did bring out the worst in each other during their college years. I think it was for the best that they broke up at the time, and had the chance to mature as people separate from one another.

By the end of the show, though, their relationship was much healthier. They were each trying to bring out the best in each other, with Matt showing Elektra that murder was not always the right way, and Elektra in turn showing him that killing is not always the worst option.

To me, Karen and Matt felt forced. For the first few episodes she was written almost entirely as "the girlfriend" with her entire screen time seemingly wrapped up around Matt. The high of their relationship was that moment in the rain, but to me they're simply too different to work out as a couple. I don't think Karen could ever accept him as Daredevil, or understand why he needs to do it.

I think a difference is that Elektra and Matt were in a full fledged relationship that had it's time and then ended abruptly with no resolution for either party only to start up again a decade later and as we know now, ultimately ending tragically.

Karen and Matt aren't even in a relationship of the romantic or sexual kind yet. They are in the timid first steps, with that date and the obvious attraction from the start. Considering the step Matt takes at the end of the finale and given his concerns over Karen's view of him as a person and taking her feelings of anger and resentment to heart I don't feel a "forced" aspect some do. Maybe I am immune to the siren call of a "doomed" love but I think that's the big appeal of Elektra/Matt. And sure, Elektra is a more sensuous creation than Karen, no doubt, but... I just could not intellectually believe in the conversation that they have towards the end of the finale. Emotionally it made sense but... Yeah, I can't say I would buy what those to characters in a moment of total desperation were selling each other. That's not to say that the scene wasn't good, or that there wasn't TRUTH there, but it was emotional, it was what they wanted to believe not what was very likely to happen. And that's what Elektra is to Matt, this alluring mass of hot emotions but... That's not the basis of a healthy long term romantic entanglement in my eyes.

Tasha/Matt because she's the only one to date him and live to talk about it.

Kind of makes me want to see a DD and Hawkeye team up now, comics or live action.

Karen and Matt is just so forgettable I don't even know why the writers went that way, especially in a season where you introduce Elektra in a grand way and have her overshadow Karen toweringly.

I prefer Claire/Matt, but out of these two, Elektra/Matt.

Matt/Elektra and not because I don't like superheroes with "normal" people. Some of my favorite couples (Barry/Iris, Lois/Clark, T'Challa/Monica Lynne) have that exact dynamic. It's simply that Matt and Elektra have so much chemistry and depth and are just so compelling to watch together. Take away the fight scenes and they still make for one heck of a pairing...the best this show has produced thus far, IMO.

Matt and Karen, on the other hand, are lacking in every way, for me.
