Elementary didn't used to be on Thursdays did it? I recall it was earlier in the week.
It kinda looked like a Batman shirt to me too but didnt think it was for sure
I'd have to rewatch the episode to check again. It's only been one episode too to know whether her wardrobe is changed from last year's and I didn't notice anything unusual about it but I wasn't paying much attention either.

I mean yeah some of it's makeup, lighting, and camera angles, but still hard to believe that Lucy Liu is pushing 50.

My favorite moments in this show are when we can see how much of a good influence Watson is on Holmes.
One last episode was when he asked her if he could accompany her to visit her old patient's grave. Holmes said it was obvious that the patient had a hand in making Watson the person that she is so Holmes wanted to show the man his appreciation.
I've seen that question asked and hinted at that it will turn romantic. I don't think it should. Not because of some Moonlighting curse (Castle, Bones and a few other series have already successfully defied it) but it doesn't feel like it would be the right path for them.Yes. It was played well too by JLM. Joan, as a friend, has carved a place into Holmes' heart. This ep had the part where Joan told him she thought it was sad that he had given up on romantic love. Is the theme this season the deepening of the Holmes/Watson friendship?
