Elon Musk Buys X (formerly Twitter): Just Use Bluesky, Threads, or Mastodon Instead

This is another fine example of the right wanting to take over every space for themself, why there is no "you got your side of the field and i got mine" middleground to be found.
Because that kind of thinking only exists in the left...the right wants to assimilate everything because the idea of things existing outside of their bubble, is unacceptable.

They cant accept people thinking or being different from them, because they think they are the only ones who deserve to exist.
On the plus side, the blocking feature is a lot better on Bluesky than on X/Twitter.

Sure, but that is not solving the problem.
Because i can block accounts, but some accounts shouldnt be allowed to exist...to lie and trick others who might be easily to fool.
A ton of the right wing nonsense on twitter is because gullible people didnt knew they were tricked by lies etc.
That i just dont see them, is not fixing them from existing sadly.

Took a page out of Trump's playbook.

Bluesky is not banning people based on transphobia anymore. So that was fun while it lasted. The theory is they're afraid to get hauled into Congress over it.

From what I have read no matter what they do it's not going to be an easy choice. Ban bad actors, deal with Trump and the Republicans attempts to interfere in a private business under the guise of "1st Amendment" rights despite having no legal or Constitutional right to do so or they cave in and allow these types to flood Bluesky and lose a large amount of previous users over turning it into Twitter 2.0 and being just another Nazi Bar.
