that is some interesting ideas, though i do think the bond one has been proven to be wrong with continuity between the actors

Yeah, the Bond one doesn't work within the continuity of the series. There are nods to the past films when Lazenby contemplates retirement in OHMSS, Sean Connery hunts down Blofeld for the death of his wife in DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, and Roger Moore visits his wife's grave in the opening of FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. Then again, there are only a handful of scenes to ignore, while you have to ignore whole movies for Bond continuity to make sense over 5 decades.

The idea that the James Bond name is passed on to different agents during the year is a very clever and workable one indeed.

I like the Bond one. I think it is the only one worth actually using. The Ferris one is kinda funny to think about though

I never liked or went with the notion that it was all in Travis Bickle's mind. If that is in fact what Scorsese intended, just like with the Star Wars Prequels and Matrix sequels...I'll pretend it didn't happen.

The Radio Flyer one makes me sad, but the Ferris Bueller one blows my ****ing mind.
