BvS Emil Hamilton in this DCCU? Did he survive?

Will Richard Schiff reprise his role as Emil Hamilton or will they make the simplier and put a son of him Emil Hamilton Jr. or [put the name] Hamilton for Star Labs in BvS, or another of the DCCU?

I say this because I'm not sure if he was on the Phantom Zone or on another dimension. Remember that The Phantom Zone didn't work the same with Kryptonians and humans (see Lois Lane effect (none) vs Superman effect) and also the PZ wasn't opened the same way as on Krypton. so maybe worked different.

Will he be transported to another dimension.. (Themyscira maybe if it's on another dimension inside Earth) or on Apokolips (or maybe Apokolips freed them from the PZ too..) as a hostage or brainwashed guy for Darkseid plans.

Or in the Phantom Zone (leading a search for him, I know that's less likely),

Brainiac involvement as another theory (involving another dimension or the PZ, that he did "rescue" Faora and the humans for his own purpose)

Do you think they will have the original Emil, a son of his for Star Labs or maybe just continue without him.

He was pulled into the Phantom Zone. Lois didn't get pulled in because Superman flew her away from the portal.

She wasn't pulled by the PZ. she was falling from the plane. she didn't have nor the same effect as the kryptonians nor she was sucked. At least thats how I see it.

That's why I don't know if the PZ worked the same with Hamilton than with the Kryptonians. We didn't see him after he pushed the key. Maybe he got sucked but he end up in other place. IDK. All speculation tho.

You're right. She was falling, and he caught her and flew her out. The PZ has an effect on people who have been inside it, which is why Lois didn't get sucked in.

But Hamilton and Colonel were right there when the portal was open, so I'm sure they're there.

^^ I think it has to be with kryptonian DNA (Superman struggle to get out of there because he would be sucked too) and stuff near it(yeah the plane was sucked most likely both hardy and hamilton who were inside were too. However the Phantom Zone didn't "behave" the same as in Krypton (it was opened differently and maybe it reacted differently maybe as a portal? IDK.

But yeah Most likely he is in the PZ. will he be freed by Darkseid or Brainiac, maybe Luthor? or just landed in other dimension... That's what intrigues me... They can put him that he landed in Paradise Island (if that place it's on another dimension but inside Earth of course) and gave Wondy a purpose to travel into Man's World (besides supes presence and all that) only if Steve's presence is not the same in this universe or is not used in that way.

John you're confusing yourself now. Hes' in the phantom zone and he'll be there until he gets' released or if he ever does.

That's the most likely thing that happened. I'm not confusing... Just said another theory. That if the PZ in that scenario behaved different (speculation only) they maybe end up in another dimension. But thats only a big IF.

I agree with ya. that they are most probably in the PZ and if they want to use them (Darkseid, Brainiac or whoever) they need to bring them back from it.

It's just that we know very little of what's in the other side (PZ) that makes me think those things, or maybe is the shortage of news Sorry

I seem to remember an explosion after the plane hit the World Engine? I'd say he's pretty dead. Not the best use for an actor like Richard Schiff... or a character like Hamilton, for that matter. He would have been useful as Superman's go-to science guy in future films.

My guess is that he's dead and gone. They could probably invent some extravagant sci-fi reason to keep him alive, but I doubt they would. He wasn't a very important character in MOS. He was more like a token "scientist type" created to spout explanatory babble and named after a "scientist type" from the comics in an Easter-eggy fashion.

He has a potential and had it in the comics... Star Labs stuff and all that.. he was an important ally to Superman( I loved how they handled him in STAS and then in JLTAS) and it would be good to see it with him, with maybe a son of his, or maybe another scientist.
