Transformers Ending song

I finally got to see transformers with my friend and at the end of the movie when sam and mikayla kiss and optimus sends out the message, there is the linkin park song playing. I thought they should have played dramatic music instead of the linkin park song. My friend said that the linkin park song gets you pumped up for the sequel or something like that. What are your guys thoughts about it?

meh, the song is political. What it's doing in transformers I don't know.

But I DO hate when they reuse a song more than once in the movie, very lame.

Transformers has a good theme song, but the song lets movie goers go with a happy and pumped up ending.

they should have played the touch... or at least the transformers theme song remix that was floating around here.

the 'what i've done' song fit, and sounded good enough, but it's going to be played out soon, in fact it pretty much is now. in a few years, people are going to cringe when they hear that.

I didn't mind the song. in fact, it did pump me up and get me excited for the sequel. But the original theme or the main theme of the movie would have pumped me up and give me even more goosebumps than what i saw from the end

It is a familiar song. "What do you mean, isn't it Linkin Park's new song k0uger?" Why, yes, yes it is. However it samples the old Halloween movie theme.

heck yeah it does, which is why it felt a little out of place.

That song kicks ass. It just leaves a great impression on you after Transformers being a kickass movie.

I liked it. It suited the ending nicely IMO. :woot:

I'm actually surprised that some people think the old theme from the cartoon (or even the Linkin Park or Mutemath reinterpretations) would be a good thing to have in the movie. The movie is not a kiddie cartoon, which is what the kiddie TF theme works well with, so putting the two together would be a complete mismatch I think.

I liked the song alright. Though if they would have played "The Touch", it might have been a bit humorous to those who have seen Boogie Nights, and not the the 1980's TF Movie. :D
