Revenge of the Fallen "New Divide" Theme Song by Linkin Park

Oh, wait, I forgot, cool people are supposed to think Linkin Park is a bunch of lame posers.

...Screw it, cool people suck. I love this song!

Am I the only one that thinks it sounds a LOT like "what i've done"? Both songs are great, this one is better for the fact of the effected drums(terminator-ish sounding as someone mentioned)Still I think it sounds very close to the first song.

Sound wise it's nothing like What I've Done, but musically it's got the same chord progression just in F instead of G if I remember correctly.
My guess is it's deliberate to tie the films together musically.

Christ almighty, people like Linkin Park? I damn near **** myself when "What I've Done" was played, not once but ****ing TWICE in the first movie. Linkin Park wrote both of their songs on their first album "The Fast Song" and "The Not Fast Song"

The Fast Song: Mike raps about **** knows what and Chester screams an annoyingly repetitive chorus to ensure every Junior High student on the planet can remember how their song goes. Screw lyrical depth, just make it catchy.

The Not Fast Song: Mike goes home and has a life while Chester and co. remain in the studio to record Chester whining over a bland and generic music track.

Rinse and repeat on every single album for the past 10 years and here we are: the New Divide that sounds like the same redundant **** we already hated by 2001

Finally heard it in it's entirety and I love it. Linkin Park isn't really the best band ever but I do like them. They've got some catchy ditties. Add this one to that list.

Melodically, it's kind of similar to "What I've Done", but it's still a fairly solid song. I like the bridge a lot. And the video is fantastic. The pixelated transitions are really nice.
