The highly awaited theme song for Transformers 2, "New Divide" by Linkin Park was released today. I have to say its a pretty tight song. The chorus isnt all that spectacular but overall its a nice theme song

Honestly i think Linkin Park is ridiculously lame now. There new sound in my opinion sucks. I mean this new song honestly sounds like generic trash.

What makes me mad is LP is a talented band i mean there collaborations there first 3 albums were gold then they got rid of all the elements that made them great.

Do they need rapping ? probably not but why lose the experimental sounds and slick guitar riffs and nice DJ sampling? I said this somewhere else, if LP released Minutes to Midnight as their first album and then this song it would of been heavily trashed because it all honestly it sounds very cookie cutter rock it is really a shame i really liked them at one point.

Hes back, but I thought I heard Zimmer is working on it as well. LP is just gonna help with mixing New Divide into sections of the score I think. Keeping it a theme for the movie. They are not doing the full Score.

Its a pretty good song. The only complaint I have is that it does sound way too much like "What I've Done" other than that pretty good!
