Take a deep cleansing breath... *inhale... exhale*

Now enjoy some silly Spidey simplicity... Here is the current story arc in Stan's newspaper strip, illustrated by his brother, Larry.

lol..they are great..I read em on the net every day..nice to see one continuity where theres no Gwen vs MJ

reading stuff like this makes it sad for me to think about what's happening in the spidey-verse right now :(

Thanks for the comics Captivated :)

I subscribe to www.dailyink.com and read the Amazing Spider-man by Stan Lee, the first thing every morning. It's cute.

Will Spidey get his suit back before disaster befalls the imposter or others? I'll post the next several issues next week. :spidey:

My papers don't carry Spidey no more. Although I really hate th' repetition they hafta go through every day. It's like one step forward, 3 back.

Love reading this, and love Larry Lieber's classic style pencils.
Would be great if he was on one of the current books.

That strip is great, just plain fun writing. Those were the days.

Heh, Stan's still got it and the artist is pretty good, if he'd draw Peter just a tad younger then he'd be great on Amazing. Of course, I wouldn't mind if Stan came back and took over Amazing as well. :)

If Stan starting writing ASM I might just plotz. That would be AWESOME.

I've got a question-

Does joining dailyink.com give you the option of accessing older comic strip archives?

I'm trying to find some Spidey dailies from Nov 2002 through Feb 2003, and when I emailed the dailyink site about a year ago to ask about it, they said that they were considering it as an option, but it wasn't available yet.

You do have access to archives, but they only go back one year.

I would love to read how MJ found out Peter was Spidey in the newspaper strip... among other things. I hope there is a book of the strips in the works. And if there isn't, there should be.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks.

Oh well, I got lucky and found someone who had saved all the color Sunday strips from that 2003 storyline, maybe I'll find someone who has the dailies someday (or I'll have to go to a public library in a city where the Spidey strip is carried in the newspaper and make copies off microfilm). ;)

Aloha,
Great stuff.
There is a collection of Stan's comic strips in a book called The Best of Spider-Man by Ballantine Books copyright 1986.Most of the strips are in black and white but there is a color feature called The Imposter must die. You may be able to find the book on Amazon or eBay. Keep the strips coming.
