Yeah, but we saw the beginning of the relationship, and now nothing? That's bad storytelling. They've gotta follow up on it and let us know whether they're still together or they broke up or what. The Turtle thing is just done, you gotta remember it's been like 5 months since the last eps in Entourage time.

I love this show, every episode is better than the last.
I enjoyed it as well. Walsh is a crazy mother****er. A director I'm not sure I'd trust with a project that big, but at the same time, you can't fire him off of HIS movie after he has rewritten it, directed it and is in the process of 3 months into post-editing. If E does that, he becomes the suit title that he and the audience hate Walsh giving him.
As for the movie, I think it is supposed to be bad but mainstream popular bad (think again, Scarface). Because in all the other movie clips they've made for their "films," they try and be subtle send ups of the genre but cool (low budget indie in Queen's Blvd. and generic superhero/Jim Cameron water movie with Aquaman) but the clips for this movie...they just look like a terrible movie that is laughably bad.
I think that is the direction they're going.
I also agree that just dropping Sloan off like that in a throwaway line was bad storytelling. I'd say the same for Turtle, but I didn't care about that subplot enough to mind.
I don't think they got into Cannes either.
The guy that was editing the movie trailer when 'E' was watching it, did he say the movie sucked too? I couldn't make it out...

Wait a minute, is 25 million a good offer? Do they still get a cut of the box office reciepts? If they sell a 30 million dollar movie for 25, they lose money. And where is Nick Rubenstein in all of this?
Spoilers obviously
They got into Cannes
Or the movie could legitimately be good and E and that trailer dude are wrong. People involved in the production of some great movies have thought they sucked, I'm sure.
Then they got in on Vince and Walsh's name recognition alone. This won't end well
When has E ever been wrong about these things? Besides, the entire point of the gambling subplot was to show just how wreckless and egotistical Vince is.
There's a first time for everything, and Vince didn't lose anything on the Manchester game, and he did actually win on the Brazil game. Maybe the subplot isn't so much about Vince being reckless as it is about Vince's luck and how good his gut usually is. It's just a different way of looking at the same events.
