Much like the references to the Battle of New York in MCU shows, I really appreciate the world building and seeing the immediate impact of Riddler's attack on people like Victor. Not to mention how it's still having an effect on him. You can tell how much he's grappling with trying to figure out what the right thing is, and how Oz, in his own twisted way, does care for him and trying to mold him into what he sees as a better man.
Also, for a DC multiverse connection, nice to see Francois Chau here after him previously appearing in Birds of Prey.
