He might also be familiar to some of you because he was in the Pacific TV series. he had hair though.

I thought he was a great supporting villain. I really liked the way he played the character. He kept coming back from everything I kind of expected to see him show up a final time in the big end battle. JBD is a real good actor. I remember him from The Pacific, and Rubicon. He plays a great villain.

Honestly, he didn't leave much of an impression on me. I don't really blame the actor, but he's just kind of a generic henchman and it takes something extra for a character like that to stand out. Like Jaws or Oddjob.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Savin character, even though he was an one-note character. I think JBD deserves alot of credit in making a secondary villain so memorable in the movie. And I agree that he is way better than Vanko from IM2.

he's the guy that Matt Damon's character is talking to during the beginning of the movie ("firefighters are a bunch of *****s). they graduate from the academy together. he, unexpectedly, bails him out toward the end of the movie. he pops up one other time to sort of look at Matt Damon crosswise for not becoming a uniformed officer.
