Eva Mendes as She Hulk?

Well, What did Elektra and Catwoman lack... a good script, Female heroes just need some good scripts.

Much as I would like to see this, I have no faith that it will ever come to pass. :(

So, 2 female superhero movies flop that doesn't mean its doom and glom for others. With a strong team behind this movie, good things can happen but to be honest, I dont see she hulk getting her own movie not until incredible hulk has at least a sequal.

I'm saying there are better alternatives other than spending $80 million+ for Marvel's more known or would-be better received franchise. For example, I'd like to see a bigger budget Captain America rather than three separate movies about Miss Marvel, Black Widow, and Spider Woman. I know we all wish that Marvel has a bottomless pit of money, but we all know that it's far from the truth.

Knowing Marvel they would get to work on She-Hulk and make sure it comes out before Thor, Captain America and Namor.

Personally, I'd love to see a She-Hulk movie. It would have to be an action comedy, and could potentially be very entertaining. I don't see the general public buying into it, though. At least, not without some convincing. Maybe it would be better to have Hulk in the Avengers movie, introduce She-Hulk there, and then spin her off into her own film if she's as well-received as she should be.

I don't think Eva Mendes is the one to play her, though. The main reason is just a personal preference of mine to keep any given actor or actress limited to only playing one character in the Marvel Universe. (I have a never-to-be-realized pipe dream of all of these characters meeting up in a Secret Wars-like movie, or something. Just let me have that, please.) I don't have an easy suggestion for an actress, off the top of my head, though.

A she hulk movie with medes as the lead would definately have me in front row and centre. Granted, if I had my way, it'd be R-rated.

Hmm...If this film actually does happen, then they should definitely get Dan Slott to write it. Seems only fitting. Considering he's been writing She-Hulk for close to four years now.

Although I've never been a huge fan of Miss Mendes, I am a fan of the big green girl. If done right, I could see her doing a pretty decent job of it. Do I think it will ever happen? The answer is "No". Let's be honest with ourselves, even though comic fans want to see her (for the most part) she is not one of the top characters Marvel has to offer. On the other hand neither is Moon Knight or Deadpool, so while She-Hulk will probably never get a movie I doubt the others will either. A comic fan's point of view is not the same as a big budget producer's. A big budget producer isn't worried about what a handful of dedicated fans want to see, they're worried about the masses and what they want. As long as they're big name characters like Thor, the Silver Surfer, Captain America and Spidey, the B and C level characters will have to wait. Although I think Daredevil is a B level character with Elektra (although I loved her comics) is a C and neither of their movies did all that well proving that characters that aren't so well known by the average Joe or Joanne won't do exceedingly well. I think the A listers will get numerous shots before the B's and C's get a chance. How many movies has Captain America had? How many were good or even memorable? Even the Punisher has had 2 movies and he's not that great of a character by any stretch of the imagination. As for the Hellboy reference: Hellboy while not the most popular, was probably the most popular that the studio could get. You have to work with what you can get. Now when all the good characters get taken and only Moon Knight and Deadpool are left, then some studio will pick them up and since that's all they'll have to work with they'll make do.

Besides what does Nick cage know? He doomed his son to constant beatings at school by naming him Kal-El (or however you spell it). That clown is the reason I won't go to see Ghost Rider. I think he's a horrible actor and his voice annoys me to no end. Last time I checked, Johnny Blaze wasn't a 40-something dude with black hair and a ridiculous look on his face all the time. :venom:

Agreed.
Unfortunately, I think the first thing the public will think when they hear the title is "spin-off of that crappy first movie." Now, if it's marketed first as a comedy, then action film, it might have a chance. Maybe.
I really want it to have a chance.

Elektra - Flop
Catwoman - Flop
Wonder Woman (most reknowned female hero) - Gets behind of Flash.

What's the outlook for green painted muscled woman?

Catwoman actually made money so it wasnt a flop.

Dan Slott talks She-Hulk.
NRAMA: Got it. Finally Dan - we're not one to parlay in Hollywood gossip, but recently, Nic Cage said he's trying to get a She-Hulk movie rolling with Eva Mendez playing Jen...what now?

DS: What now? I'll tell you what now. Soon as I heard the media buzz I called up my agent in L.A.! I said, "Michael, do whatever you can. Knock on every door. I gotta pitch a treatment for this!" Seriously, I've been working on this book since 2003! I've been living with this character and her world inside my head for four years. I SO know how you'd do this movie! And Eva Mendes? She'd make a great She-Hulk! I know this's all floating around in the rumor phase, but still... C'mon! That'd be so cool!

I think that Eva Mendes would be an excellent choice for She Hulk.
:yay:

Considering the scope of her **** in GR, I think she's already a lock. :o
