Evanescence

well it's an odd thing.
both are talented, but the concepts they concoct are impossibly yawn inducing.
Ken Burns once said he'd like to film a documentary about every state in the US.
apparently in an attempt to bore millions of people to death.
but yeah, Sufjan rocks.
"enjoy your rabbitt" is my all time fave.

a documentary about all 50 states would only really be cool for the people that live in each state.

i mean, do you wanna watch a movie about idaho? it might even be hard sitting through it if you're from there.

but i would definitely be down with an ohio documentary.

Ewww.... :O

I'm all for hip hop/rock mashups (big time) but even I couldn't imagine Luda's lyrics over their instrumentals or vice versa.

Luda and Sum41 were going to do one, but their trial run on SNL was poop.

Well that seems more logical, though. I mean, Sum's a punk band. In Evanescence we're talking dark goth rock. Mash that with Luda, Mr. "Number One Spot"? Hells to the no.

amy lee owns my soul....rock on evanescence

dont get all the hate in here...but whatever!

I like the dark gothic rock music...but please don't defile it by meshing with hip hop. :yay:

I like their new vidoe its cool, better then the last one.

I like the video for My Immortal. On of their better ones, imo.

^That makes me want one even more. The beginning of that where Luda's just sayin "Stand Up" was great.

*brushes off his shoulders*

:p

I'm digging around for as many Luda acapellas as possible. That's not really the hard about doing a bootie mashup of the two. The hard part is getting the Evanescence instrumentals. Sampling would obviously be a good challenge, but I'm a lazy bastard and I'd rather find some of their straight up instrumentals.
