Sadly for any fans of Val Kilmer from BATMAN FOREVER was not a candidate in this poll [which I think is a load of Bull, He has more of a right to be their than Clooney Who nearly destoryed The BATMAN movie franchise.]

Quoted for truth! :cmad:

1. He's not #1, but I grew up on Conroy. I just don't care for Kilmer and Clooney, West was great in his own way, and Keaton wasn't much of a Bruce Wayne.

2. I'm not the only one.

3. Ever heard of something called, opinion?

Thanks for playing.

If you watch the movie of quentin tarrantino with Clooney I forgot the title, the movie is great and Clooney looks awesome, he could have own all of the actor if he had a good script and all, and He admits in an interview that he destroys Batman characters and movie franchise!

From Dusk til Dawn, and yes, you are right.

Indeed. Actually, I'd love to see some crazy, off-the-wall comedy with an all-star cast like sorta like Mars Attacks, in which all the actors who've played Batman have a cameo.

If i were directing a film which starred either previous Batman actor, i'd give all the others small roles as his friends. It could even be a serious film, but for the scene when he's at the bar with friends, those friends would be played by Keaton, Kilmer, Bale, and Clooney (minus whoever was the actual star of the movie), with Adam West as the bartender.

And i still think Bale and Kilmer would be awesome as Dr. Manhattan and Ozymandias in a Watchmen film.

Although I love Bale, I have to go with Keaton for the sakes of Nostigia.

People might 'bash' Burton's Batman, but for God's sakes, I can't. That was the movie that got me into Batman in the first place, along with other people too.I can't just disregard it as if it didn't anything for me, because it changed my life when I was a kid.

Keaton. Bale's was good, but Keaton is the one I grew up on, and he's always been Batman to me. Gotta give it time with Bale.

Ew.com has a poll asking BATMAN Fans to vote for their favorite BATMAN live action Actor. :batty:

The Choices are

1. Christian Bale -BATMAN BEGINS,THE DARK KNIGHT

2. Adam West - The 1966 BATMAN : Tv Series

3. Michael Keaton - BATMAN89 & BATMAN Returns

4. George Clooney - Batman & robin

Sadly for any fans of Val Kilmer from BATMAN FOREVER was not a candidate in this poll [which I think is a load of Bull, He has more of a right to be their than Clooney Who nearly destoryed The BATMAN movie franchise.]

Anyways vote for your favorite BATMAN .

THE DARK KNIGHT
Kilmer should have been on there.

Val was decent as Batman and great as Bruce.

Meanwhile, Keaton was great as Batman and decent as Bruce.

No other actor can achieve that distance stare that Keaton had as Batman. Kilmer had that playboy look and charm, and he pulled it off well.

So, those two had checks and balances that made them special in their own right. Clooney, I love the guy, sucked all together. At least he admitted to it, and he has redeemed himself since then (thanks to Mr. Soderbergh)

[blasphemy]Clooney might not have been bad in a different kind of batman movie. [/blasphemy] He's a very capable actor in serious films and given the opportunity to be a serious Batman he could have pulled it off.

I'm being serious!

I wonder if in the future Bale will be spoofed and take as many shots at himself as Adam West does.

maybe if bale did a spoof of batman... but since he's not i don't think he could.

he could take shots at himself for... newsies... for example.

Bale is Batman!!!! For all you Keaton lovers . . . Hey I loved him as bats too. But I grew up on the comics and Keaton's Batman was second rate to Batman in the comics. Bale hit a home run!!! But Animated Batman BTAS, TNBA, JL, JLU blows all the movie versions out of the water.

I doubt it. Batman was pretty much the only thing Adam West ever really did for a long time, so he'll always be associated with that role. With Bale, Batman is just one of many great roles he's played. I personally already knew of him before Batman, having been a fan of Equillibrium. So i think he's pretty safe from being typecast and always associated as Batman.

Batman Forever was bad but Val Kilmer made a good Batman too.
Bale tops them all though.

Got to go with Michael "Eyebrows" Keaton. This man, and the film he was in, was what single handedly got me not only into Batman, but comic book characters in general. Objectively, Christian Bale is a better actor, and a better Batman / Bruce Wayne. But if the question is asked, "Which actor will always be Batman to you?" ... the answer is quite simply put, Michael Keaton. He was my childhood hero. And to this day, I still can't get enough of the two movies he was in. They still thrill to this day.

1. Bale

2. Keaton

3. Kilmer

4. West

5. Clooney
