Never said I hated Keaton. He was surprisingly a good Batman. And that "Burton's" Batman killed has nothing to do with it. Like I said before . . . I've been a Batman fan long before Keaton put on the suit. The comics made me a fan. Bale gave Batman an animalistic quality that is very much The Batman! None of the other actors including Keaton gave that in their Batman performance.

true , i loved bale's batman, but to me batman wouldn't do a bunch of loud annoying growls . to me batman could just stand there in front of somebody and the guy would still just immeadiately **** their pants from just LOOKING at him, you know ?


although batman begins WAS batman's first year , so i guess you could imagine him doing that stuff as a beginner.

As great as Conroy is - vocally, he's leaps and bounds ahead of Bale, Keaton, and just about anybody - I can never seem to associate him as "Batman" like I can with Keaton or B ale due to him just being a voice actor.

Shame too. BTAS, and his voice, are both pretty much the definitive version of Batman, IMO.

The Batman voice of Conroyn gives me the chills.

Best Batman is a tie between Kilmer and Bale. The best advantage of Bale is having Nolan by his side.

For me it's a toss-up right now between Keaton and Bale...but I may be leaning towards Bale for his portrayal of Bruce's patrician side though I still think Keaton's big lips looked better under the cowl than Bale's did.

When I read comics I hear Kevin Conroys voice, which makes him the definitive Batman for me.

Keaton is the best Bruce and the second best Batman. Bale just got a better script is all, and he bulked up, but neither is a reflection of his acting or understanding the character. Bale gives some horrible lines in BB....'it's what we do-oooo that defines us' springs to mind.

The growling in BB is stupid. I hope he cuts that shiit out in TDK.

Best Batman Im also torn with Bale and Kilmer. Kilmer got the best lips too to suit that mask.

The Batman voice without a question is owned by Conroy.

Okay I'm gonna make a settlement with the Keaton fans here. Danny Elfman still has the best Batman score to date. I listen to both his bat scores all the time and I can't picture anyone else as Batman with his music other than Keaton. When news broke that Kilmer was going to be bats I was very dissapointed.

Notice that this is not a poll asking which is the BEST Batman, just who will always be Batman in your mind, who always springs up as Batman.
And I'm sorry to say, that will always be Kevin Conroy. He brought me up as a Batman fan. He's done a supurb job for eight whole years, and besides that He pwns.
Followed by Micheal Keaton, whom I voted for.
Followed by Bale, Followed by Kilmer, etc.

As ashamed as i am to admit this, I have never seen BTAS. I love Batman and all ("Batman" was the first word I ever spoke) but I just never got around to watching it.

Chriatian Bale is Batman in my mind, far and away. No one else has ever been in the same area code of Gotham as him.

I dont understand the "Keaton/Bale will always be Batman to me.".
Bale is my favorite but Id never say he will always be because someone better could come along. Resting on nostalgia, no matter how good another plays the role, is something a 60 yr old would do.

Not to show any disrespect or anything but if you've never seen any BTAS or JL or JLU I do highly recomend them all. In JL and JLU Batman's the only one without special powers and most of the time he outshines them all. Well the only one in JL but he still pwns in JLU.
