The Dark Knight Exclusive Set Reort #4: The Final Chapter!

True true. Not to mention DK will be a vastly superior film.

While there have been many complaints about people jumping the gun on this movie (good or bad), I definitely think that it will be vastly superior. Bale has even said that there's no point to make a sequel unless if they can out-do themselves from Begins. And from the fragments that we've pieced together, the story already sounds incredible. A Batman fan's dream flick. It's gonna pwn. Totally f***in' pwn.

I mentioned it briefly with "da crew" about how it's obvious this will be amazing compared to Batman Begins. First of all the flick is starting off with Batman already with his cape unlike the first where he had to fabricate it and the idea. Not that that wasn't awesome but this sequel is set up to be more intense. Add on Batman's ultimate nemesis and you know the rest.

I just hope, for the sake of the unofficial third film, they don't pull a Spider-Man 2 and put the best and way more solid storyline in the middle of the trilogy.

But, I trust Nolan. Lead the way kind sir.

Just random thoughts to refresh the thread.

yeh they are, but i gotta wonder if they're WB/Nolan approved or spy-vids.

They were for the news. And they weren't taken down by WB. So obviously they got permission. WB probably thought it was time to tease us a bit before the trailer.

You guys are funny. They obviously got permission? Hardly. They don't need permission. You know the stuff we set-spies try to argue? Its the truth.

WB knows better than to spar with a big news network over a battle it has no grounds to fight. And if the WB was going to 'tease' us a bit, they'd release it on a much bigger platform than local Chicago news ;)

Chicago news is watched in several states. I've seen it while in Alabama on vacation. That's only a few million people watching it.

why mention sting was sting was clearly influenced by The Crow? JK

People are just stupid. When we fisrt saw him people said he looks too greusome. now people say he doesn't look greusome, he looks like the Crow.:o The Crow comparison is a pale one. A guy in Crow make-up couldn't creep me out like Mister J did. People shouldn't generalize so much.

Wow.....why would people want to watch Chicago news in other states? Big headline news I would understand, but why watch incidental regular news? Hrm.

Anyways, I didn't mean to come off smarmy. I just meant that I thought if they were trying to give us a tease, it would be on Fox News or something, rather than an affiliate.

It wouldn't be on Fox news, because The News Corp is a rival company to AOL/Time Warner. Time Warner would put it on one of their affiliates. I think Spirals right, Fox can show the images because of freedom of press laws, etc.

Honestly I'd love to be one of the crew member on this video, chatting with well....what's his name already ???? Oah yeah....Joker !!! What a stupid name !!!!:woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

Heh, so was The Joker´s first appearance in comics based on The Crow too? That´s where you first see black around his eyes. Or the BTAS one, who has black around the eyes too?

I wonder what Internet geeks would have said of Joker when the character was created, cuz his first appearance was a carbon copy of Conrad Veidt on The Man Who Laughs.

WGN is a staple on basic cable across the country and has been for decades.

They wouldn't be saying anything.

Nothing to complain about, if it's the character's first appearance. There's no "definitive" version to compare it to, considering it'd be his introduction.

So what, there are at least half a dozen "definitive" looks of The Joker. I myself like the Dave McKean Joker, even though it´s not necessarily my favorite one, but it´s pretty radical when compared to other comics versions.

So what...
So I simply responded to your scenario. Wasn't the point of it to see how people would react on the internet if Joker was shown for the first time?

The rest of your post has nothing to do with that.

Your point was that still there wasn´t the "definitive" version of Joker for it to be compared to, and I mean that "definitive" is relative. Anyway, it doesn´t matter if it was the introduction, if there was an internet full of know-it-alls like it is now, they´d say, "blah, this character sucks, it´s a rip-off of that Conrad Veidt movie"...

is it just me or does Chicago look kind of beautiful in those fox nightime river shots..
