Don't look it up on Wikipedia etc. just see it. There is an end twist that is great and shouldn't be ruined by foreknowledge. It's got not only Stallone but Lando Calrissian himself Billy Dee as Stallone's partner. It worth the effort. Tight crime film.

As one who grew up loving Sly, I have to admit. I have never seen Nighthawks. I never knew Stallone dressed up like Serpico.

Funnily enough, part of the original promos for it was comparing it to SERPICO. He and Billy Dee Williams are NYPD officers who start training in the "new" Anti-Terrorists Task Force. Rutger Hauer is an European terrorists on the run, he has all European police forces AND the terrorists after him (he did things on his own and against the lead terrorists orders) and has now come to New York. It's a good drama/thriller with less action than people are used to from a Stallone movie....but still good. You have Lindsay Wagner as his ex wife, Persis Khambatta as Rutger's assistant, and Billy Dee running around in a Superman T-Shirt. I want to see the uncut version....a lot of violence was cut out to remove an X rating it originally received.

Cobra is one of those movies that I will always enjoy because I did as a kid. I wonder what it would be like to watch it now for the first time. Probably a lot of eye rolling.

Have you pitched your proper vetting idea Reek? If so, I assume it went in a very Rick Sanchez type way.

I haven't read the thread much since that one guy created a bunch of IMDB accounts to attack you and someone else. That was a while ago though. Is Goonie another account for that kj guy who thought Power Rangers was the true threat to the MCU's reign, and then said a bunch of racist stuff?

That was fun... and then IMDB disappeared.

At first I didn't think Goonie could be kj because of how they interacted. But then they both got banned really close to one another. Like full bans, no probation. So I guess it is possible Goonie was another kj account.

I don't spend a lot of time on the DC boards anymore, but yeah, there isn't much "new" to talk about with the DCEU. I blame the gap between MoS and BvS. It was almost like it drained every little question you could have out. And if that didn't do it, BvS and SS definitely made sure that was the case.
