I feel like you should have a new avatar each time there's a new episode. It absolutely should be Hitler Map Brockmire.

Question: If you could pick a person or group to handle a theoretical King Conan with Arnold, who would be on your list?

Ridley Scott. You take the meditation of mortality that Gladiator was, the spirituality and finding a sense of self worth of Kingdom of Heaven and the epic vistas he can create.

George Miller could be good, as well.

If only. Unfortunately Sir Ridley will die on the set on Alien 12 at the age of 97 before he can be freed up to do anything. :o

I kid, I kid. Scott would be great just for the qualities you mentioned.

HIM just popped up on the radio I was listening to on Google Music. They were the first band I had ever seen in concert. The security at the gate stole my friend's rechargeable batteries out of his camera.

Lot of things could be better about that story.

First concert I ever went to was to see Matthew Sweet when I was a junior in High School and Richard Lloyed was playing lead guitar for his band on the tour (Robert Quine and Lloyd both played on the albums of Sweet but I remember Lloyd went on tour with him). It was an amazing show. My friends and I were a little obsessed with Sweet back in the day.

That's the soundtrack of my high school youth. It actually make me sad right now. I kinda cut a long time friend out of my life recently along with a female I was involved with. With the friend, quite frankly he spoke to me in ways that was just a straw that broke the camel's back kinda thing. He was tangentially involved with the podcast but he started acting like we owed him money or something and no, we did not owe him any money. He just got angry, and I mean that, ANGRY that we didn't do everything he recommended to us some which we could do some which we couldn't but... The dude lives in another city in another state. We're the ones doing the podcast. He got possessive and frankly acted like an ******* for no reason that makes sense, but that's been his MO for over 20 years and I just had put up with it for too long. We had a fight and even though I knew he wouldn't change I gave him a second chance... Only for him to again attack me and my podcasting partners for no reason. But listening to Sweet... That **** was our jam. Bitter sweet memories of youth I suppose.

Ole papa Krypton is going through some life changes I guess.

Yeah, I've had that happen recently as well. I feel like that's the thing with childhood/longtime friends. You become friends because you see each other every day, and you just grouped together into a clique or what have you because of common interests and stuff. But as you get older, you see each other less, and the bonds of friendship only really hold up if there's actually something concrete holding it together. It's no longer "we see each other every day, no matter what", it's "I go out of my way to see this person now". If it's not the latter, things start to wear down a bit, and if there are fractures, they start to grow.

Basically, you don't put up with someone's ******** anymore, because you don't have to. You don't have to see them the next day, so the only thing obligating you to be their friend is if you want to. If that goes, it goes. It sucks, but it's usually for the best in the long run.

Folk's Kryptonite has been discovered. Don't tell Donny or he'll declare war on Supes.

Discovered in the "most valuable known shipwreck in history," these rare stones are at least 400 years old http://cnn.it/2phrXFq

I was lucky to see Matthew Sweet myself a few years back. He was opening for Indigo Girls and I had never heard of him. He was so good I went right out and bought his CD the next day. :D

Tears. So good. Definite Empire feel. This is my trailer reaction I just put up. We had just finished recording a podcast episode so we did this on the fly as I was about to leave. Forgive that bright light behind me.

I will never not love seeing the MilFalc in a Star Wars Trailer.

Also, most rocks are older than 400 years.
