Facebook "Like" Button? Seriously?

I would be more concerned about the forum lag driving everyone away

If the "Like" button is supposed to give the forums more traffic won't that just cause even more lag then what we already deal with ? I see no logic in this "Like" button until the lag here is fixed

i'm talking more about the skype thread than anything, it seemed like no one was vocal about it until i mentioned it was there per another user's post in that thread.

So what's the deal with this "Like" button? So, if I "Like" a thread or a post, does it show up on my Facebook that "Nell2ThaIzzay LIKES 'Facebook 'Like' Button? Seriously?' thread on Superherohype.com"?

And PS, since I am a complete and utter Facebook ****e, I have no issues with the "Like" button

If you click the 'like' button on any thread, it will appear on your personal facebook page that you 'like' that particular thread. (If you have one.)
