Fan stuff left out.

Hey Majik......I agree with you about Rogue.

My Magneto theory was if you wanted to give her her "permanent" super powers, as she has in the comics.

Magneto's control over electro-magnetism allows him to fly, create protective force shields ( which could translate to invulneribility ). And, I once read somewhere he could use his powers to magnify his strength. So, if Rogue absorbed his powers in X1, but the machine some how interfered with her absorption........then you could say it caused her to permanently absorb a variation of Magneto's powers......which manifested itself as super strength, flight, and invulnerability. That would be a "logical" movie-verse explanation of her powers.

But, the Danger Room sequence showed how Rogue would fight by temporarily absorbing her teammates' and enemies' powers. IMO, that would be more interesting that having another super-strong, flying character.

She would be a much more strategic and unpredictable fighter......and that would add welcome variety to a battle.

Yeah, Juggy's powers come from the mystic Cytorak(forgive my spelling) jem. I think Juggernaught has more power as a magical being, but being simply a mutant just make his powers more understandable.

And thank the heavens he wasn't. A giant man running around powered by a magical gem, quite frankly, would have been ridiculous in the more grounded universe of the movies. Not faithful to the comics, but better for it.

2. Charles and Juggernaught are suppose to be related. Am I right?
Setp-brothers. It would have been nice for a nod, but it would have required a lot of explanation in terms of the story.

3. No Jean, No Cyclops. Kinda kills the idea of Sinsister, Apocolypes, or Cable for that matter.
No it doesn't.

4. Isnt it about time that Rouge stole Ms. Marvel's powers for awhile.
The problem with Rogue isn't that she doesn't have Ms Marvel's powers. It's that in the movies she's a bit of a pathetic loser with no backbone. Given a bit of spunk she could be a lot closer to the comic book version.

Again, I'm personally glad they didn't give Rogue super-powers. Making her super-strong, fly, and invulnerable would make her too much like Superman.

Haha oh the coincidence, Singer goes off to do Superman. Well I'm sure a good writer (not Kinberg or Penn) would have been able to handle making Rogue not soo much like Superman.

The theme of the films included juggernaut joining their cause because the brotherhood was pro mutant. Otherwise it would be a bit left field for Juggernaut to be featured. Very smart of them.

5. Could you have given Colossus a few more lines folks.:marv: Sucks to be Pete.

6. There is more to X-Men than Wolverine. If thats the case make a movie about that fool. Sorry Wolvie, you too close , man.

7. Multi-Man was a X-Man, why is he with Magneto?

8. You replaced Gambit for Angel. Angel didn't do **** in the whole movie!
And lastly, why can fans get a REAL fan based movie? Its like re-writing the Bible for television

hahaha this is funny. Its movie world not comic book world!!

lol didnt see him say that. Hardly sir. Its more like a director that knows what hes doing taking the page and converting it into live action, where some ideas may get lost due to the craft.

The X-men movies are not THE COMIC BOOKS!!!!!!!

Psylocke was never with the morlocks

I'm prety sure Spike was good. Correct me if im wrong.

Bigtank had got the rest.

Decay, true the comics are not the movies but x3 really just destroyed tons and tons of the x universse and really i thinl there has to be some sort of limit.

Yes, I know there were many differences between the movies and the comic books. I like to think that the X3 didn't ruin the X-men world it just gave us another perspective.

Psylocke wasn't with the Morlocks in the film either. They weren't known as the Morlocks. They were the 'Omega gang' or something to that effect. Some Morlocks were in there, as were some Marauders, as were plenty of others who were neither.

1. You want magic in these movies. I'm so sorry for you. I really didn't care that he was; I mean, heck, it was come to be expected.

2. Yes, and nothing says they aren't... One could assume there is some bad blood (yay puns!) between them and therefor do not acknowledge each other.

3. Not having Jean was expected; I mean, would the X-Men take someone back who has killed so many? Killing off Cyclops wasn't good for the character; but was good for the story (many will dissagree). Thank god we can't have Cable... he just doesn't belong in these movies. Scott and Jean have little to do with Apocalypse. Sinister, yes. But both could still be in a film without Jean and Scott.

4. I don't know about her stealing "Ms. Marvel"'s powers... but, yes, there should be some way she could have what she deserves.

5. He could have had more lines, I agree.

6. A lot of Wolverine, but there's no surprise there...

7. Get 'em changed up a bit; who cares? Multiple Man hasn't always been such a superhero. Psylocke didn't get killed be Jean either... oh well.

8. Angel deserves his place in an X-Film, especially this one. He could have done more; but he pushed the Cure storyline further along (not to mention his dad was the head of it's creator company). There was little room for Gambit with the shorter running time.

With the shorter running time that was given for this movie, there is only so much that can anturally fit.

Personally, I was glad Juggs was a mutant, and not some product of a mystical gem.

Same with the Phoenix being an extension/evolution of Jean's mutant powers, rather than some cosmic entity.

One thing all of the Xmen movies did well, was keep the characters and concepts grounded in reality.

If you add magic and mystical stuff into the mix, that, IMO, would take away from the reality-based world of the movies.

So, while Juggs was not exactly like he was in the comics, that change actually made sense.

second that.

yeah it was an okay movie. It's kust they should have brushed up on the comic book s a little.

Either way she wasnt in any group as far as my knowledge go's. She was never with Villains not counting days of future past.

I'm just glad they kept magic away from these movies, especially Cytorrak magic

In all fairness, Psylocke was never supposed to be in the movie. Her character was supposed to just be a faceless character that meant nothing. Someone later decided she should be Psylocke, which explains why her character doesn't really fit in with what we know of her.

Wasn't she working for the Hand some time?

and i've said it before and i'll say it again. if there is an X4 and if they include the adult xmen (which i would hope), i will never be shocked if cyclops and jean are brought back. no matter how logical it is. i would not really care jean is my fav (obviously) and cyclops is my second fav tied with wolverine.

and as others have said, the xmen movies are made to be real world-ish. so if they kept the more magical elements it would lose some of the realism.

Well he was a character from X-men Evolution, and ended up joining the Morlocks in that show... soo hmm.

I know the Novel wasn't the Film, but in the novel it was said Callisto was the head of the Marauders (Which is absolutely absurd if it was said to be highly based on the comics).

C'mon, Chris. Callisto and Maruaders... :p

I'm glad they left Jugg's "magical" theory out... But, it would've been cool to have referenced some sort of refrence to Juggs and Xavier knowing each other, (not being related, but former knowledge.)

Fan stuff was left out of all 3 movies...look it up. QUIT MAKING FANBOY B****ING THREADS!!!

No Lady Deathstike-Wolverine relation in X2
No Sabretooth-Wolverine relation in X1
No 5 foot Wolverine
No Southern belle accented Rogue saying "Suga"
yeah...I can do it too...

Rogue isn't going to be an insecure teenager who is afraid and hates her powers in X1 and X2 and then all of a sudden in X3 she embraces it and becomes superpowerful. Singer made the Rogue character as weak and pathetic...Ratner just continued it.
