Wow those didn't sound very original at all.
Tahahaha! That did sound a little cheesy. But it is September 7 and it hasn't came on. Has it? I don't watch TV much so I wouldn't know.

Me too! (although i was a wee lad at the time, lol).

I was 12, and had been collecting FF comics for 3 years. :thing: First FF comic I got was FF # 37.

Have every FF comic up to 120. Start with # 37, and thru the years, got a hold of the other 36 issues I was missing. Who remembers The Air Walker ? FF 1 introduced Mole Man. FF 2 The Skrulls. FF 4 Sub Mariner. FF 5 Dr. Doom. FF 8 Puppet Master. FF 12 1st apperance of The Hulk. FF 18 Super Skrull. FF 25 Hulk Vs. Thing. FF 26 The Avengers. FF 28 X-Men. FF 29 The Watcher. FF 36 Frightful Four. FF 39 DareDevil. And then FF 49 the comming of the G Man, and the Silver Surfer.

 Only one of the best FF stories ever: FF #120. (December 1972, I
believe) The "Air Walker" was Galactus' second herald, who appeared to Earth in the guise of the angel Gabriel, here to announce the end of the world.
I'll try to post a scan of that issue's super-memorable cliffhanger, with Gabriel blowing his horn as a defeated FF lie at his feet, all of Manhattan vibrating and shaking. Whoo! Still my all-time favorite FF ending.
The Surfer showed up in part 2 to defeat Gabriel, and only then did Galactus reveal himself, and what a reveal it was. I didn't even know who Galactus was then. But when his visage filled the entire sky on the last page of #121, I knew this was the biggest and scariest villain I could imagine.

Your right. That was one of the best issues ever. Everything came together. Actually Nov 1971. FF # 1 was Nov. 1961.

So.. um... anyone watch it tonight? :O

I thought it was pretty good, I'm getting more use to the amerime style, and Doom's voice was coolio.

Yeah, I'm actually hoping as part of the armor it sounds like that. Or at least more metallic like it did for a moment in the first movie.

Overall average episode. Just have to have a Fantastic Four cartoon at all, farless for one of this quality (especially in comparison to those of old). Basic "hero and villain switch bodies" episode though. Predictable as hell but it's F4 so I like it.

Doom's dialogue was great:

"No one pities Doom. I will have your head, Richards. Mark my words!"

Classic...

Crap! I missed the 2nd episode tonight. Does it air again? I will have to download it somewhere. What was the name of the episode?

I completely forgot it was on.
Sort of the way I forget about a root canal appointment unless the dentist's office calls to remind me.
If someone at Cartoon Network would be kind enough to give me a buzz every Saturday to remind me to watch Lee & Kirby's creations further bastardized, I guess I'd watch.

For those who simply must see the train wreck further, I believe it's on next Saturday morning at 11 A.M. Eastern.

Pretty good episode...

I'm definitely getting used to this style of animation.

Absolutely! That would be an EXTRA kick In the face to his old rival, lol.

Loved the new episode.Doom was great, but does anyone else get the feeling like they are going out of order. It feels like they already introduced Doom in a past episode.

It's like the show is basing itself on some pre-established continuity. I was thinking movie because of how early in their careers they are, Doom still have a thing for Sue, etc.

^Yeah, it's basically following the suit of the MTV Spider-Man and other cartoons based on movies, where the stuff that happened in the movie is alluded to on occasion.
