Yes finnaly! took them long enough.

This is the 1995 FF cartoon (second season, the one that was decent) that introduces Frankie Raye and her flame powers inside of 30 seconds.
I sure hope the new movie doesn't do anything like this, sacrificing Frankie's characterization for plot expediency. (As a result, she seems to act more like a loon from the get-go.)
Not perfect, but still for my money the best FF cartoon to date.(Referring to the entire 2nd season, not this one episode.) Nice theme on the opening credits. (Sure beats that awful song from season one.)

Unfortunately, that cheesy first season theme is etched into my mind. As I recall, the lyrics went something like:

"On an outer space adventure
They were struck by cosmic rays
And it changed the four forever
In some most fantastic ways

Reed Richards is elastic
Sue can fade from sight
Johnny is the Human Torch
The Thing just loves to fight"

And then a chorus with words like Four, more, etc..

Kraft Velveeta, or maybe Cheeze Whiz....

Yes. First season theme (1994/95) is truly horrible. I can't think of a worse theme song ever.

This show just keeps getting better and better!

Man, GREAT episode! Funny as heck! I laughed out loud throughout the entire show ("Legion Of Geeks", lol)...but it STILL was exciting and cool. I was actually getting nervous as the FF slowly began to shrink out of existance, that's how easily the show pulled me in...LOVED seeing the microverse (or as Dr. Pym called it: "Subterania, lol)...H.E.R.B.I.E was hysterical!....

My only beefs: I wish Ant-Man was in his classic costume, and would have liked to see him with his regular blond hair...(i guess the artists felt the show had enough blonds already)...would have liked to see The Wasp as well....and i have no idea what was up with that dog...did i miss something?

All in all though; best episode so far, imo.

Good episode overall. I liked the brief role of Alicia and of course HERBIE's involvement - still, I hope we get more information on what this incarnation of HERBIE is and why it has a personality as the show goes on. Not as funny as the last one, but still pretty good.

One thing really bugged me though - the supposedly deadly fan in the vents was just stupid. Sue could've stopped that with a force field without any problem. She didn't even try. And c'mon, would that fan have even hurt Ben? Just throw him into it. He's a ROCK.

Certainly not. I myself despise all things Ultimate.
But some people have problems distinguishing opinions from baiting.
and the courtesy of a simple "I think" or "In my opinion" is appreciated by many. Obviously it's not required, but its inclusion has prevented many an unnecessary flame war around here.

I think most of the silent majority here (the lurkers) would agree too. Even when someone echoes my sentiments, I cringe when they seem to be proclaiming it as fact.
It's been fairly peaceful around here for the last week or so, but I figure it's just a matter of time before someone gets antsy.
And it'll likely be over some harmless remark like Weiser's.

Yes, and unfortunately, because the majority around here stays silent, thats why there are problems when the hype gets moving. That silent majority needs to make their thoughts known. I think the trolling of last year might have been much less, had the majority spoken, rather than a couple that seemed to only make the trolling worse. Man, I read here a few times during the months of March, April and May of 2005. There was no way in hell I was setting a hand in this place. Modding was close to null and void, if that. Trolling was crazy, and what was worse was the feeding of those trolls. I don't really have the stomach for that stuff, but I'll stay around if people type their opinions with respect, rather than a desire to fight. To me the regular members should take care of their forums, and not leave all of it up to the mods. Theres a way to move people in the right direction without waiting, feeding, or baiting them until they are banned. Some need to be banned for sure, some just need to be taught some manners. Some simply need to have a drink, along with some other activities besides just this place. If you know what I mean. Lift a car or something.

Okay, okay, I'm speaking - Ultimate sucks. MOSTLY. But not entirely.

Ultimate Fantastic Four however is the pinnacle of everything sucky.
