If it is true it would certainly be an interesting pick, which I would be down for.

The goatee / bearded look has been his trademark recently, but here's on older pictures of him clean shaven, if they go that route with Reed.

Name me the film that excited you you post-Endgame if you disagree.

The fact we got a movie with Reed Richards, Professor X, Black Bolt making their MCU debut, albeit all killed off, was exciting af for me. They also showed an alternate fight with Thanos or at least the aftermath of that battle.

Sorry I’m not feeling Pedro as Reed. I always saw him as Kraven in the MCU. Keep Krasinski or if they can de-age Hugh Laurie, get him. FFS Marvel, you only get one shot at this. Don’t mess it up. They can claim Sue as the lead all they want. The real leads for me are Reed and Ben

...look, I love Pedro Pascal as much as the next person, but I just can't find myself to picture him as Reed in the slightest.

Dang that didn't take long for the trades to jump on this lol. This Pedro Pascal rumor comes out of nowhere and 2 hours later it's seemingly confirmed (well at least the talks part anyway).

Looks like Pascal is the guy given the outlets are jumping on it. Interesting choice. I wouldn't have thought of him for it, but I will take it

if Pedro P. Is Reed and the other three that have been recently rumored are it, I’m good.

I think that’s a solid cast with a nice balance of talent and appropriateness for the characters.

Haven't been disappointed in pascal yet, and marvel tends to nail most leading cast so I'm down for it.

Pascal wouldn't be my choice but he's a good actor and Marvel still has my faith as far as casting goes so I'm looking to seeing what he does with the role. I am a little surprised though that they cast someone pushing 50 for what'll likely be a 10-15 year commitment.

Exactly. Pascal isn't who I would have thought of, but the man is also perpetually busy between the aforementioned projects, not to mention The Mandalorian as well.

Still, if true, what an odd pick. Probably gonna throw cold water on those who were all but certain that it would be John Krasinski.

That is true. I figured they'd wind up with someone in their early 40's given the Adam Driver/Jake Gyllenhaal/Matt Smith rumors.

I'm wondering now if they'll still go with the rumored Sue... given the age gap between them
(yes, Reed was always a bit older then Sue in the comics too) but, more concerned about the chemistry they might have together {or lack there of}
