I don't know that they'd think of him or approach him, I'm saying if I were them, I would.

I can see Fast 6 being set in a few different European countries...

Id like to see a few British cars as well.....:awesome:

If they do that, I hope someone gets ahold of a James Bond-esque car. Complete with hidden weaponry and gadgets. :D

About the after-credit scene...

I KNEW it was Eva Mendes after I saw that ass. Not even kidding.

:o :o :o

I really like the 5th one, the first 15 minutes or so were ridiculous as was expected but it turned out to be really entertaining. The only thing that took me out of the movie after the beginning was
when The Rock switched sides.
Everything up until that point, I thought wasnt too overly unbelievable.

That was the scene that actually had my theatre applauding. Well, that and the scene right before with the massive shoot-out.

Hobb's only agreed to help them up until the guy that was after Dom & Brian was killed. He had Hobb's friends & team murdered. Obviously Hobb's would want to get revenge

It just seemed ridiculous to me that someone so devoted to his work and principles would switch sides so easily. I guess they hinted at it when they said he was very Old-Testament, but it still felt strange to me.

Did it make sense? No but neither did the rest of the movie. My crowd loved it. I went with the flow and laughed and I think clapped when it happened.

he turned because the bad guy i forgot his name killed his crew and he saw that the fast five group was the best way to get revenge

They also saved his life. I wouldn't be quick to throw someone behind bars after something like that.

I thought it would have been more odd if Hobbs hadn't helped them. They just saved his life and he watched his team get murdered. He realised Dom was his best chance of killing the prick so he he worked with him. Its not like he was going to stand around while they rob the scumbag. To not join Dom would have been a wasted opportunity.

I understand why he did it, it just seemed out of place to me that I guy so good at his job, well respected, and blatantly set in his ideals on one side of the law ("I just go after the name that comes up") would suddenly join the gang hes been tracking only because they saved his life. I would have expected him to let them go then and go after the guy by himself instead of teaming up and helping them rob a bank and murder the man, then let them go.

I know this is a Fast and Furious movie, I dont expect everything to make sense, but I still found that too unbelievable. The way it played out made for better entertainment, which is what these movies are all about, but it just took me out of it.

Those men were his brothers and I would do whatever was necessary to kill the man responsible for their deaths. Had he went after the guy on his own he would have to explain to the FBI why he is rogue and why he is staying in Brazil after dom and Bryan had gotten away. However, he was already on a mission to hunt down dom and Bryan and they were his meal ticket to kill the bad guy so he used his mission to hunt down dom and Bryan as a smoke screen to cover up his revenge. This way it looks like the whole time he was down there he was on mission instead of a personal vendetta. At least, that's how I rationalized it. I would have done the same thing if i was in his boots as i think any man would traditionalist or not so it wasnt out of left field for me. Anyone who pulls be out of a firefight is alright in my book.

I didn't find Hobbs joining them to be odd at all...if anything it would've been odd if he didn't.

They killed his team, they tried to kill him and the men he was sent to hunt down just saved his life.

I mean c'mon...

the enemy of my enemy is my friend...

he didn't stop trying to catch Dom & the lot... he just put it on hold as he realised he could avenge his team better with their help than without.

Made perfect sense to me...

I think that line really says it all in my opinion. He didn't really come off as a guy that has strong ideals and is one the side of the law. He's just a guy that goes after names on a list. When he said that line it was because the cop was telling him that they might not be as bad as everyone thinks they are but he didn't care.

Very mature to rate a film 1/10 so please spare me the lecture on name calling.

If you think this is a 1/10 then that is fine that is your opinion but it is obviously either extremely ill informed or just idiotic. People that vote 1/10 are childish and immature. They do it to make themselves look cool and have their opinion stand out because by god this film is the lowest form of cinema that has ever graced the silver screen.

:barf:

Question...are you Armond White?

But getting upset over a stranger's opinion of a movie and name calling are not childish and immature. :awesome:

I guess so. I just figured a man so familiar with criminals wouldn't be so quick to buddy up with a few he's been hunting just for saving his life, wouldn't he be afraid they're using him?
Still a very entertaining movie, and a Fast and Furious movie, so Im not hung up on it.
