Fast & Furious 7

So no number at all? They should call it Fast/Furious. Bring back the slash in movie titles.

I like Fast/Furious a lot. Earlier I suggested Fast: Furious just to bring back the semi-colon in the title, but Fast/Furious just LOOKS faster.

The / evokes movement while the : does just the opposite! Either way, I hope they keep the title simple. No numbers and definitely no subtitles.

i dont care what they call it as long as i can call it a good movie lol

Nah, i've seen them all so i'll have to see this one

and i get my tickets cheaper so if it is bad, i didn't pay too much

Haha, no! The Fast Franchise is one of my guilty pleasures. I don't blame you.

I just meant, going up to the ticket counter and asking for "A Good Movie" instead of the title would...yea...bad joke.

Rumors are that Rhianna is going to be in Part 7 and that Ludacris and Tyrese want Halle Berry in this. Taylor Lautner from Twilight also wants to be in this francise.

Hopefully this comes true.... and Statham massacres Rhianna and Lautner. I dig Halle Berry, she can play Statham's equally badass wife.

I don't mind Rhianna or Halle Berry if they are minor roles but please no Taylor Lautner

Well Lautner was almost cast in Expendables 2, everyone shat on that. Now everyone regrets it because the world was robbed of a scene where Jean-Claude Van Damme executes Taylor Lautner in cold blood.

It’s the same cast from the previous Fast Furious 5, same characteristics, basically I didn’t see (nor expected) to see any changes or upgrades with Dom Toretto (Van Diesel) Brian Conner (Paul Walker), Roman (Tyrese) Teji (Ludacris) and the rest of the crew playing their roles any differently. Ditto for Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson who returns as Lt. Hobbs.

A new special guest and significant one in the film was ex-Women Mixed Martial Arts sensation Gina Carano who was one of those who provided some of the sweetest fighting moves, I admit that I was more interested in Carano and Letty (Michelle Rodriquez) totally going at each other than either the Rock or Van Diesel’s fights.
I was interested to see who the new villain would be, how ruthless and cunning they make him out to be, and what new action stunts, special effects would be Included.

Fast 6 is given a simple dialogue to where Dom after being told that his former gal Letty is still alive, and is compelled to influence his ex-crew to rejoin him in the search and rescue for her. The big reward is government officials granting Dom and his crew forgiving pardons in return for helping Rock capture the villain and reclaiming vital stolen weaponry chip.

Once introduced and engaged in the cast and plot, then we get what we anxiously anticipated in Fast 6 , the explosive action sequences which
Include spectacular car chase scenes and car races, technology gizmos, tough guy fight scenes, tough girl fight scenes, Roman (Tyrese) easily remains the comic relief humor of the film as he was in his previous two FF films.

Speaking of the gizmos, one delight was a special made bulletproof ramp- speed car the villain Owen Shaw invented that proved quite a dynamo challenge to both Law enforcement … and the FF crew. (although someone has to explain how that crew came away unscathed from injuries in that first awesome chase scene) but with this specially designed car I was anxiously awaiting

Another awesome scene that you might have seen on the trailer is the tank scene.
And I thought this is a totally different look and adventure than the other FF films and made it all the more fun when it is put into action and both Hobbs (the Rock) and Torreto crew have to take it on and stop it. Also includes a top notch stunt that provides a rescue moment.

If I had any nick-pick peeves with Fast 6, (besides no Toretto crew injured or scratched in the 1st crash) I did not like the explaining reason why Letty survived and returned in this FF film.
Attempting not to spoil it, but she was given a mercy killing than what I originally imagined what happened to her (I thought she would be a similar near death gun-shot to the head like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Vol.1) and surrounding one of the big characters late in the film who was more treacherously undercover than we thought didn’t seem like too much of a shock to other crew than what I would have thought. Seemed too easy to accept and like “ ok-really” ?

The final action scene is really stretched out and longer than what I would have expected, (including the absolute longest runway i've ever seen) but it’s absolutely loaded with strategic, hand-to-hand combat, gunshot battles, car chase scenes til it’s unbelievable! ..It’s all the more worth taking as a very significant moment happens to the FF crew. I think many were more prepared and anxious to see the infamous action scenes that Fast 6 were to provide – and it lives up to expectations big time!

One more very important note - please stay through the credits at the very end. There’s one more very significant scene involving one of the FF crew
As well as introducing a very big name surprise at the end that instantly ties into the very next FF film. You do not want to miss that one !
On a scale of 1 o 10 – I’d give Fast Furious 6 … a 8.0

Btw, I saw an interview with Diesel saying the only thing we haven't seen yet is a father figure for Dom. Then he said he said too much. Hopefully it's not his dad, everyone can't be retconned!

Just saw Tokyo Drift again, the ending definitely carries a lot more weight due to the films that came after. I think the final scene of Drift might be in the end of the first act of Seven seeing as about a week goes by between Han's death and the ending seemingly.

no thank you

So I finally saw FF6. Im excited for this new one.
I wouldnt mind if they brought in Lucas BLack. I like that guy as an actor and I havent seen him in anything recently except 42. I wouldnt hate to see Bow Wow, but I'd rather him just be a cameo at best.
ANd dont me wrong, I like Statham and Fast 7 is the first non Expendables action role that interests me in a long time. But I kinda wish they got maybe KAte Beckinsale or someone like that. I know I know that Statham is Shaw's brother, but idk. I wouldnt mind seeing a badass female villain. Still looking forward to Statham though
