Fast & Furious 7

I know he's got hercules but I really hope he's in this and honestly it wouldn't make any sense if he isn't. Everybody says that Hobbs wouldn't have a role, but why wouldn't Ian Shaw go after him too. He hired Dom and his crew to get his brother. He's just as responsible for what happened to him as everyone else. So it would be a little strange to me if shaw didn't go after hobbs, or Dom didn't go to hobbs for help in a "you got us into this mess!" sort of way.

if he's in it, i see it as a smaller role, which i wouldn't mind. if it's going to be a revenge film, i'd like most of the focus on the original crew, but i'd also love to see some Hobbs :hrt:

Hobb's could be on assignment somewhere at the time of film 7.

That may stop Dom from asking for help, though I don't see why that would stop Shaw from going after Hobbs. Look at Han right. Minding his own business dealing with yakuza stuff in tokyo. Bam, Statham! I think Shaw would know where Hobbs is at even if he was doing his job. Either way it wouldn't feel right if he wasn't in it.

I'm pretty sure he's in this. They confirmed him months ago.

They were even talking a Hobbs spinoff.

Will his role be reduced? Most likely, but I do think he will have a presence in this.

Plus, his absence can be explained as setup for whatever a potential Fast 8 could entail.

So Lucas Black and Bow Wow are back?

That was obviously going to happen.

Fast 7 takes place after Tokyo Drift. So, unlike the other films, there is zero reason why the Sean character won't be back.

He'll want as much payback over Han's death as Dom does.

What bothers me is why would Ian Shaw go after Toretto and his crew? His brother was a ne'er do well dishonorably discharged SAS soldier with no redeeming qualities.

Hoping Rhonda Rousey fights Letty, Mia, and Elena all at once.

he was still his brother. and we don't know what kind of character Ian Shaw was. he could be just as bad or worse

same article confirms brian tee, eva mendez, and cole hauser (drug kingpin from 2f2f if you've forgotten). insane!
are they just messing with us?!?! could this just be speculation? from such a legit source though so it has to have merit.
i was kinda relieved when i heard about lucas black being back, but now im antsy haha

Has to be fake. There is absolutely no reason why Cole Hauser's character would come back. I can only imagine how it'd go. "Hey Ian Shaw, O'Connor got me locked up for 10 years. I'm f***ing pissed. Let's join forces."

Who knows. One could have said the same thing about Braga. And yet, he was in Fast 6.

When there's a will, there's a way.

They can't pull that two times in a row. Then it'll just be corny. If they are bringing anyone back, bring back Leon.

Edit: Dwayne confimed he's back for FF7.

They could work him in some way or another. Plenty of great sequels have had returning villains or new alliances amongst them. Could even be a minor role.

But what i discovered is that that article mentions pretty much the exact same cast as this other person's list (fantasy cast type thing) on IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/list/e0yhuET254M/

rousey is the only one left off.
so maybe the author that he was looking at the actual cast when he saw that. sigh. well at least lucas black and bow wow seem to be back in the mix.
and at least i can rest assured that if im ever in need of work, the qualifications for the Examiner aren't too high.

Glad to see official confirmation from Dwayne himself that he's back.

Oh wow, I've never seen that video. And awesome, Hobbs is back. I just hope that Elena doesn't. She's served her purpose.

Braga made sense because of his connection with Letty.

Exactly. He wasn't just shoehorned in for s***s and giggles. They made it make some kind of sense.

I actually liked Tokyo Drift so I'm pretty cool with some of the cast of that film returning. I also have confidence in Wan. I got good vibes right now.

Owen said to Dom that his brother lived by a code.
Anyway, I wonder how badass Ian will be and will he even kill off other members of Dom's team?

the code could be a bad one

lol Dom lives by a code too and they were stealing dvd players and cameras in the first film

So, who's coming back from Tokyo Drift, other than Bow Wow?

Very happy to see confirmation of Dwayne's return.

I'm failing to see why that wouldn't make sense in this franchise.

Cole Hauser returing can make total sense!!! First off he was the best villain in the series before Luke Svans and secondly its been over 10 years his coming out of prison!! And Thridly he has revenge on his mind, seeing that Brian and Rome put him in prison and they were criminals that managed to settle back into life and they lost him a whole bunch of money and probably his reputation making it hard for him to conduct business.

Seeing this is the case he turns to Brian and coax him and crew to do a little job for him and in return he tells them where they can find Ian Shaw. Since Shaw is off the map.

Now this could be done in FF8 since Statham is too cool to be a one film villain, but it could work, if done right.

Cole could even end up working with Dom and the crew, for his own ends of course.
