Fast & Furious 7

i need to watch fast & furious 6 to catch up on this.

tokyo drift is probably my fave of the movies, and fast five turned it into a cool heist team movie series.

it's insane how theres so many sequels for this now. :wow:

i see Brian and Mia now perhaps backing out a bit to raise their kid. that leaves room for Black to come in for a while

Say what you will about this franchise, but they are always willing to give everyone that was in it some rebirth.

Eh, 8 and 9 is pushing it. Are they going to try to do a new one every year now? This isn't like Saw where the budget is relatively cheap. Plus, 5 and 6 were great because it reunited every one from before, but threw in the Rock, By 8 and 9, I imagine even Ludacris will be tired.

Yeah, I think 8 and 9 might be pushing it. IDK though, I'm not a huge fan of this franchise anyway. It seems like most people like the idea of 8 and 9 tho.

I think as long as they can keep it fresh and entertaining they should keep going. At one point it looked like it was over, then they bounced back better than ever.

this

honestly if they wanted to, this film series could branch off to other things that could still probably work

ie: hobbs could have films hunting down criminals all over the country, give him a cool task force. maybe a cameo from a FF character over time to help with a case or something

following Dom and his family, or dom and his heists

or even bring back a racing themed series with some of the characters

and the craziest goofiest one of all; Tej and Roman buddy movie lol

This. Since when is there a limit put on fun? As long as they stay fun and fresh I say keep it going. Besides its not like this franchise is some cinema classics that need to end before sacrificing integrity. I'm fine with them making these until they run the thing into the ground. Some bad Installments don't erase the good.

I wish Tran wasn't killed off. It was cool seeing past villains return. Maybe DK can still have a role down the line.

and honestly, how many film franchises are 7 films in, getting better as they go? don't say harry potter :o

it's never fully shown that his cousin on the crotch rocket died. he could've been severely severely injured lol

the death i'm most bummed about is still Giselle though. i thought she was best, most well rounded female character and her dying was noble, but she still got the shaft. and her and Han's relationship was way more fun to me than Brian and Mia's ever was. i'd totally watch a Han and Gisele film, but a Brian/Mia film wouldn't really interest me at all except for the Toretto family costars

It sucks that they killed Han off.

His death was badass tho.

Han and Gisele were great but their part is over now sadly. It's too bad there is no way to bring them back from the dead like Letty. Both are final in their deaths. :(

He's not dead is he? I always thought he just crashed pretty hard, but didn't look fatal.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Carter Verone came back into the franchise.

prequels to their death /hopeless daydream

pretty sure one of them died for sure right? Tran or his cousin

I hated Carter Verone.

That rat threatening that he did was crazy!

Tran crashed under the bridge, his cousin in the snake pants crashed off a grassy hill, I believe. All I remember thinking was Jessie was the only one who looked like he died in the movie...to me, at least.

Tran's eyes were open like he was dead when Brian checked him.

Oh ok, I must not remember that part. He seemed like an afterthought of a villain anyway. I was hoping for a big Race-wars ending.

Before 5 and 6, Tokyo Drift is actually my top FF film (Yup, even over part 1).

If it wasn't for Tokyo Drift I would've never given this franchise another shot because I really didn't like the first 2. But lo and behold it ended up finally delivering everything I wanted from this franchise in the first place (a character that wasn't bland in Han, interesting car culture and scenery, lots of sports car stunts & races).

It made me a believer and the only other movies in the franchise I like aside from it are 5 and 6. So I'm pretty glad to finally see a true follow up to it come about. Only disappointment is that Justin Lin himself doesn't get to sequelize his baby.
