The Green Guy has had 3 animated series over the years, and rumors always turn up about another being on the way. Out of the 3 which is your fav and why?

The animation may have been very primitive (they looked like sliding pictures from the comic), and the voice acting may have been funny at times, but you really couldn't get much more faithful to the comic than this. Some of the scenes looked lifted right off of the page, and the stories were often stright from the comic. In fact, check out the origin episode. It brought Hulk to the masses that otherwise wouldn't know who he was. Plus, it had a very catchy, albeit inappropriately silly, theme song.

When the live action TV show ended in '82, a lot of kids thought they were losing the Hulk from TV. But this wasn't the case. He simply slid over to Saturday mornings in front of Spider-man and his Amazing Friends..and this time it was something much closer to the comic. We had most of the primary Hulk characters, including Betty, who now is a research scientist working alongside Bruce (that idea seems to be one that is sticking around). It had great music and voice work...and Stan the Man was the narrator for the show. That couldn't have worked out better, right? Even the strories were well written as they emphasized that Banner hated being the Hulk and Hulk was about as fond of being Banner. But, there was one very peculiar thing, however. For some inexplicable reason, Bruce's clothes would reapear when he changed back from being the Hulk!

Talk about a star driven voice cast! Shadow Stevens as Doc Samson, Luke Perry as Rick Jones, and Lou Freakin Ferrigno as Hulk himself! The animation was decent too. This one took a cue from the Spider-man and X-men animated series, and like the '66 show, tried to incorporate some of more important and fan favorite stories from the comic. They explored the seperation of Hulk and Banner as well as brought in a Gray Hulk. In fact, in one episode he went to Vegas as Mr. Fixit. On the downside, the writers on the show tried at times to give it a spoof like sense of humor, which may not have worked so well. It was really evident when the second season permanently changed the show title to...The Incredible Hulk and She-Hulk. One episode had them try to defeat Leader at a fashion show.
