Favorite Home Alone movie

My favorite Home Alone movie has ALWAYS been the second one.

The first one was great, but the mofo was stuck in his house the whole time. I like how in the 2nd one he's running around New York City and grabs some girls butt. t:

The first one, easily. It was the first movie I ever saw in the theatre, so it holds a lot of sentimental value.

2 is better than most sequels, but I always felt it was way too grim. It's even scary in some spots. I really do enjoy it, but it's nowhere near as good as the first.

3 is an abomination. Never saw 4.

OMG Home Alone 1 & 2 were great! "We're the sticky bandits...Noo the wet bandits!!!" Those movies were great. I own both. I'm gonna go watch ONG BAK: THE THAI WARRIOR. Tony Jaa Owns!

lol. Yeah, when he's walking around Central Park at night and he runs into the crazy Pigeon Lady. I love the crazy Pigeon Lady. She was cooler than the creepy old neighbor.

1 and 2 with the kevin kid....3 with that freaky sick kid with the RC car and the micro chip....4 with the kevin kid and the dude from 3rd rock....and 5 with some bloody kid and some how he's alone and has to foil robbers...

The first and second are equally entertaining; each has their more-than-memorable scenes and characters, so I love watching them both. In my opinion, the sequels after that are a disgrace to the series. The villians are reduced from believably evil to depressing, and no one will ever top the original cast: Culkin (both of them), Pesci, Stern, Heard, O'Hara, Candy, Curry, Schneider, and Devin Ratray as "Buzz"...need I say more?

Roberts Blossom as "South Bend Shovel-Slam", and Brenda Fricker as the "Pigeon Lady" were both gret characters, and I love the commentary on the original film's new DVD. Chris and Mac (jokingly, I hope) said if they ever reteamed for another one, it'd have Pesci and Stern as straight-laced citizens, while Kevin returns for some sweet vengeance, in essence a huge role reversal. Knowing Mac's apparent fondness for darker fare these days, a story like that could actually work, but it'd be a really tough sell. On the whole, I'd rather stick with the first 2, and that's it.

Home Alone 2 for sure. One of the scenes I always loved was the Hotel scene when Kevin was running from the robbers & he uses the old TV show / movie to trick the hotel workers into thinking that was his dad & your right Catman who didnt have a Talkboy in 92 lol
