Superman Returns Favorite Most Memorable Scenes in SR

you know what was really weird? When supes was getting beat up and stabbed, the theatre I was in got real quiet like during the passion of the Christ, everyong had this kind of "how could they due this to our hero" expression on their faces.

yeah, i felt really uneasy during this scene, especially when lex's big oaf is holding supes' head down in the water. *shiver*...not a feeling i enjoy.

1. Opening Credits, simply amazing!!!
2. Supes and Lois together flying around.
3. Supes and Lois talking in the sky
4. Superman stepping out of the plane while people are clapping.
5. Superman diving into the ground to lift up the New Krypton, really demonstrated the extent of his power.
6. Final Flight sequence, once again, great stuff!

Very enjoyable movie! Much more then Spider-man movies or Batman Begins. Oh yes, and light years ahead of X-men 3.

This movie was great,but it is unique & not like any other movie.

I liked.

1. When the kid kissed Supes on the forehead when he was unconcious.
2. When he catches the globe.
3. When he lays the plane down.
4. When he takes Lois up, and when she goes back inside, Clark, Richard, and Jason are eating, and she's like
5. When Superman gets beat to death, that one will stick with me for a long time.
6. Him lifting new Krypton.

Lots of scenes. Gonna see it again tomorrow!

When Jason "kissed" his Father - Kal El on the forehead.

Then when Kal El - Superman stood next to his son's "Jason's" bed telling him how he will be different. How some will consider him an outcast.....

And also ..... the part where Kal El "Superman" says - And the Father to Son and the Son to the Father.

There were sooo..... many parts of this film that I really really enjoyed.

I did read the SR novel and yeah parts were left out and some where different.

However .......this film was absolutely the prize money!

This film was reallly more then just a Superman film - it was Quality at its best!

Not just the special effects - but the whole package .... A Quality first class film.

When Jason shoved that Stienway Grand over that fool that was attacking his mother "Lois".

OMG in the theater ........half the crowd went OMG YES!

The two girls in the very front row said "Superboy"? WTF? and then laughed!

Favorite scene for me would have to be when Jimmy takes a giant bite of his burrito, all wide-eyed with that "uh oh" expression, after lois comes back from her superman rendezvous. haha, i wanted to freeze-frame and replay that part over at least 5 times.

i can't wait to see the plane sequence in IMAX. i know it's gonna be fantastic.

- Obviously the plane scene. That was one of the best action sequences I've ever seen.

- Superman getting the crap kicked outta him.

- Superman flying to save everyone when the city was falling apart.

- Lex getting the signature from the dying lady. I thought that really added to Lex's character and showed how he is a brilliantly evil man.

When Lois gently kissed Kal El "Superman" on his lips when laying in the hospital bed -

Then you see on the heart monitor - Supermans heart beat speed just alittle.

Then Lois looks at him and with a delicate smile

There was just so much in this film that reached and touched in so many different ways.

-Superman using X-Ray vision to look into the house, and then flying off, trying to fight off tears because Lois said she didn't love him.
-Superman getting beaten viciously by Lex and his gang.
-Superman falling back to Earth after he threw NK into space.

Well just got back from seeing it,oh my this movie is spectacular.

Best scenes would be,well I gotta admit for me the best flying sequence was the final flight in the clouds before going to space, it was perfect.
The plane sequence, incredible,specially the scene where he separates the plane and the shuttle with his heat vision, and the following shot of supes lifting the shuttle, oh man that was so iconic. The hole scene of supes saving the city specially catching the DP globe and the big green sign, supes using the HV to desintegrate the falling debris.

Supes lifting NK and supes falling to earth.

Oh who can forget supes landing in the fortress of solitude.

Best dramatic scene= supes talking to his son.

Best scenes:

Saving the shuttle/plane; genius!
Hurling Lex's real estate into space.
The "sun-recharge" scene, majestic!
The rooftop gun scene; seeing the bullets bounce off Supes was geek-nip!
All flying scenes were terrific!
Globe scene.
These scenes alone make it worth the price of admission. Unfortunately, not much else to recommend it.

- Superman pulling Richard, Lois and his son from the sinking wreckage. The look on Richard's face is amazing.

- Richard saving the plane from crashing down the waterfall. You knew he would pull the plane back up, yet it still gave me a good feeling when he did.

- The plane sequence. That alone made paying $7 worthwhile.

- Watching Richard, Lois and the kid through the porthole of the sinking half of the ship, trying desperately to get out.

- Superman falling from space after sending the New Krypton into space. Brilliantly moving and poetic.

I loved all of the above, but the just before the ending credits when he flies in space and gives a quick look at the camera, like Reeves did at the end of the other movies. The whole movie was just awsome, damn.

1-My favorite scene of the movie was the most sublte one. Superman floating from the nose of the plane to the door. That was amazing and unexpected!

2-Superman`s speech to Jason. Made me cry...

3- The Zero G moment in the plane. That was unbelievable cool. Before the actual panic.

When she sees him for the first time and Brandon looking at baseball stadium afterwards.

I know is a Williams score, but I can't recall name. Anyone here remembers?

That moment was the best moment of the movie for me.

The most memorable moment for me was when Lois and Superman were on the DP roof and he asks her to come with him . This is why Brandon Routh is so good in this film to me his eyes and facial expessions expess all Supermans feelings at the moment.He decides then and there to show why the world needs Superman and most of all Lois still cares about him despite the front she puts on.

*The plane sequence with Lois looking shocked when she saw Superman out of the window and Superman saving the plane;

*Lex getting the dead lady to sign his document, giving the wig to the girl and walking out of the mansion with Kitty (hilarious);

*Lex beating the crap out of Superman on New Krypton;

*Richard turning the plane back to save Superman in New Krypton. I thought for a moment there that he would be selfish and ignore Lois;

*Kitty stomping her feet towards Lex and slapping him in anger for actually cutting the brakes in her car;

*Kitty getting rid of the crystals and apologizing to Lex with tears;

*The opening credits;

*Lois and Jason encountering Lex in his yacht while he was brushing his teeth (I laughed my ass off when he said "Rorris Rane?");

*Seeing Lex in that long-haired wig at the museum;

*The speech Superman gave to Jason in the end;

*Superman lifting the NK and throwing it into space and falling down to earth;

*Lex yelling and complaining on the island with Kitty;

*Jason owning Bruce with the piano;
