Who is your favorite new hero in the MCU? Feel free to discuss and please only vote after seeing Captain Marvel

I went with any hero introduced in the last few years. No Falcon, Scarlet Witch, etc. Let me know if I missed anyone!

Captain Marvel. I went into that movie loving Thor more than any other hero, and left it loving Carol Danvers. Literally. She is my new favorite hero, in the MCU.

Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange are my favorites among the new heroes. I can't wait to see more of Carol

Captain Marvel for me, but Carol and Steve Rogers are pretty much the only Marvel characters whose comics I've been a fan of for years, so that's hardly a surprise. And I think the movie pretty much nailed the KSD version of the character, so I of course loved it.

I really enjoyed Captain Marvel and Black Panther both. But Tom Holland's Spider-Man is an absolute joy to watch in a way that few characters ever have been. Carol is the close second and T'Challa the close third.

Wasp is actually my favorite of the female heroes. I like Hope as a character a lot. Love her backstory. Though I enjoyed Captain Marvel a lot as well and loved Carol, too.

Wasp is great. I love how much of Evangeline's personality is in her and I can't wait to see more of her in the MCU going forward

Doctor Strange largely because of my wife's influence(she loves the character and her enthusiasm is contagious), plus I've always had a bit of a soft spot for wizards. Probably because of Gandalf.

Man, Infinity War boosted Strange's popularity big time.

I wonder how much of a boost Captain Marvel will get after Endgame? I bet people will be much happier with Larson's performance when she's directed by the Russo brothers. I'm curious to see how she's received in Endgame versus how she was received in her solo film.

I already loved her in Captain Marvel and I can't wait to see how the Russo's handle her. I agree about how big of a boost Doctor Strange got after Infinity War. Him and Thor were the best heroes in it for me.

Same page. I love Holland's Spidey, who's a bit of a screw up but I was a fan of the good Doctor back in the 80s and his solo film totally delivered IMO with a follow up as a clear contender for MAP of infinity war, after his quick witty remarks and one on one with Thanos he's definitely one of the MCU's heavyweights - being portrayed by a real acting heavyweight helps of course.

I would say that after Infinity War and Ragnarok that Thor is to the MCU what Superman should be to the DCEU ( if they ever get their bloody films sorted out) with Tony and Cap the other top dogs.

I haven't seen CM yet ( catching that tomorrow) but until then Strange is the MCUs top new guy.
