It's just a given...it's just like in Star Wars; why is it that most of the empire in a faraway galaxy speak in british accents?

wait a minute guys heres a good one why is Jorel a god?

How can a human be turned into a kryptonian?

^Alter the DNA, which may be why Jor-El was able to turn on and off Clarks powers. He did go into that light thing for training. Who knows what other ways it altered him.

I dunno? Same way Kryptonians can be turned into humans, I s'pose (reference SII.) It's dumb anyway you slice it though, I agree.

Not to mention how they would have actually gotten kryptonite before the planet exploded...

...and if it wasn't Kryptonians, how would they know to place the kryptonite in the vicinity of the map? Coincidence?

It was Milton Fine.:wow:  The Kryptonite could have been a sample of Krypton's terrain or Milton Fine could have created it.:wow: :woot:  :ninja:

how is it that Lana is still able to make good use of her hand after having had it impaled?

Not only that, but having a kryptonite necklace for so many years around her neck should have caused her head to fall off.

I mean, Lex lost his hand because of the kryptonite ring he wore for so long.:oldrazz:

The Krptonite necklace gave her the ability to attract freaks.

Lex & the whole security thing. You would think that by now there would be nothing but security guards at that mansion he relies to much on cameras that always gets disabled first & when security guards do come in they are idiots :o

Nope, just bad choice in men. All of Lana's boyfriends besides form Clark have either died, gone evil(er) or both.

Clark died.

Plus I feel bad for Lionel, Whiteny lost his father while dating her, Jason lost his mother, Clark his father.

Mr Lurthor say out of those dark allies

Yes, they were freaks. And I'm including the ones she didn't date(Tina Grier, that fish guy, and some others).

There were a lot of holes in the pilot episode. Can't remember most of them right now, but a couple are, Clark driving the truck as a freshman in High School, most people don't even take drivers ed until Sophmore year. Chloe had quite an impressive Wall of Weird going on for the first few days in High School and how did a Freshman become in charge of the School newspaper. Finally, nobody seemed weirded out by freshman Lana Lang dating a Senior and they've supposedly been dating a while. What was Whitney cruising around Smallivlle Middle School last year for girls? Also, that season Lana took over the Talon, who in their right mind would give over ownership of a business to a Freshman in High School

He didnt drive in the Pilot. I think its Hulk who has pointed out before, that the driving age in Kansas is 15.

Maybe she ran the paper in Middle School and took over the High School paper during the summer break, due to her impressive skills and nobody else being interested.

I think in a small town, there is nothing very weird about that. Also Lana loved horses, the Fordman's had stables, maybe she got to know Whitney because of that.

Also, that season Lana took over the Talon, who in their right mind would give over ownership of a business to a Freshman in High School

Lex was the owner of the land. Lex, Nell and Lana were part owners of the busines with Nell being the Manager. Lana had more of interest in it than Nell though, so she was there more often.

See, with a bit of creativity you can explain your way around anything. :cwink:

Indeed, but those things AF brought up aren't even plotholes; they're nitpicks. And silly ones to boot. ;)

Exactly! When I think of a plothole, I think of a solution being made for a plot that doesnt make any sense within the context of what's been happening. Or the course in which a story is heading, has bits missing which doesnt make any sense. I think Thirst might have suffered from this, which is why they had Chloe narrating. To fill in the missing pieces, so to speak.

Did that make sense? :cwink:

Yes, basically. Superman choosing to become mortal in SII was an irreversible choice according to Lara, but lo and behold... :D
