Hanks has done many great films, Big, A League of Their Own, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Toy Story, Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile, Cast Away, Road To Perdition, Catch Me If You Can, The Terminal.

I'd have to say though both the film Forrest Gump and his great performance of his are what defined him as one of Hollywood's greats.

The Green Mile, but not so much because of Tom Hanks as because it's one of few good Stephen King-adaptations.

Tom Hanks gets on my nerves. His screen presence is lacking and it's just hard for me to watch him similar to Kevin Costner and Alec Baldwin. He's really sapping my enthusiasm for the Da Vinci Code. The only movie I've enjoyed him in was Forrest Gump.

Actually, as depressing as it might of been, I think Road to Perdition is my favorite followed by Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan.

I'd really love to see Tom Hanks do a serious action film.

I've been thinking about him doing something like X-Men, Batman, or even Spider-Man at some point. In your opinion, what comic book character would be perfect for Hanks?

In my opinion, I'd say either Harvey Dent/Two-Face or maybe even Dr. Connors/The Lizard. Don't ask why but I've always pictured him as Dr. Connors.

Apollo 13 by a mile then Catch me if you Can (he deserved an oscar nod for both, and not for Saving Private Ryan)

Probably Road to Perdition, but I'd like to see Philadelphia. It's always sounded pretty good. I've just never placed it high on the priority list.

    2. The 'Burbs
    3. The Terminal

Glad to see The 'Burbs get some respect, but everyone either forgets or hates Joe Versus the Volcano.

When he was younger, I think he would've made a great Superman. I can also see him as Batman in a Dark Knight Returns movie.

Anyway, I love the man, so it's extremely hard to pick a favorite, but If I had to choose, it'd be Toy Story 2, followed by Big.
