Drama Here directed by Zemeckis starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright

Watched this tonight. I get it, this is Zemekis' We Didn't Start the Fire, but it seems I'm in the minority in thinking this was good. I'm entering my late 30s, married, with two kids, difficult father, etc. and the expanse of time really weighs on me the older I get. This landed big time with me.

In a sense, which is like post-election depression, this also feels like a eulogy for America as we know it. Very much feels like we're definitively entering a new epoch.

Finally got to see this a local theater that has both movies and live events had it playing one night only so I said I am gonna see it. I REALLY liked it such an interesting concept having the camera in a fixed position through over 95% of the film

they show part of the kitchen in one shot where you see a character move a dresser with a mirror on it and at the end an elderly Tom and Robin are talking about a shared memory of their daughter's life and the camera zooms in and pans around them showing the opposite side of the room then it pulls back out through the window showing the house and neighborhood for the first time kinda like the final shot of the last episode of ER where you see County General Hospital for the first time
