His look in JLU was perfect to me - he was pretty much the Neal Adams GA in animated style.

Also liked his characterization there best as well, closest to the comics too, IMO, likeable but a little hotheaded.

Showcase design...I prefer the hood to the hat in Animation and LiveAction ( that said, he should have kept it on for longer than 10 seconds in the short-movie) and I always liked the idea of just one arm being heavily armoured (But I prefered this solution to the one in Injustice, though I love that suit in the context of the game). The long gloves were also pretty neat.
