Hey now, boys and girls, here's the thread to list the favourite movies you like to watch during this festive All Hallow's Eve. They don't have to be horror movies (like Scream 3, starring *sigh* Patrick Dempsey), and they don't have to be explicitly Halloween-related (like The Halloween Tree or Hocus Pocus), but they do have to be somehow connected to Halloween and more or less enjoyable.

Mine's Hocus Pocus. Bette Midler owns all your souls!

Halloween 1,2 and 4
Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th parts 1,2 and 3
The Blair Witch Project
Nosferatu(1922)
The Exorcist

I'm watching Nosferatu on Halloween this year.

The vampire in that(Count Orlock)is without a doubt,the creepiest movie monster...EVER.

I'm gonna say Saw, simply because it was released at Halloween :D

I like Hocus Pocus too... but I also agree with cryptic name ... wrong forum. This belongs in Miscellaneous Movies.

I love watching all kinds of scary movies at Halloween, but I'm mostly partial to classics (Karloff, Lugosi etc) and the more recent well-done monster and ghost movies.

I used to like the supernatural slasher flicks like the Freddy and Jason movies, but they seem pretty dumb now, so I have a hard time sitting through them any more with the exception of the better ones, like Nightmare on Elm Street 3.

I'm really not a big fan of the "torture" movies that seem to be popular these days, like Saw and Hostel. There is some tension in these flicks, but they're more about the shocking gross-out than being scary. I'll take monsters and ghosts over human killers.

I like watching them all october. I call it Scarefest, I watch them before I go to bed and have weird dreams.

The Lost Boys is a good movie along with Gothika. My favorites are Halloween and Childs Play.

Batman and Robin. Now that was some scary sh@t.

yep, I watched it. Tim Burton is a weird looking sucker.

Anyone see the edited version of Shaun of the Dead on Comedy Central? Ugh! I love the movie...censorship sucks

sleepy hollow...with johnny depp...a great halloween story!

Nightmare Before Christmas.

I don't like all those horror movies. They're all ******ed. All that they ever do is, kill people. If you've seen one movie, you've seen 'em all. And in most of them theres always one or two people that survive, and if it's one, it's a girl, if it's two, it's a girl and a guy, who just walk off like nothing happend to they're ******ed teenager friends. And you can also tell that they're bad by a sequel coming out EVERY SINGLE YEAR, It's like, "Hey what do you wanna do?" "Ummmmmm, lets go make another horror movie!".

I dunno, I like the Scream franchise because it lampooned that genre while still remaining respectful of it.

By the way, if this is indeed in the wrong forum (and if so, I'm deeply sorry), feel free to move it or provide instructions as to how I can.

My favorite is Wrong Forum, directed by Goe Awai. :oldrazz:

I'm watching Halloween right now. Never seen it before.
