in SR the rock that Supes lifted was about the size of an ice burg must be a couple of hundred thousand tons and since he could fly that feat is well credited to him and the big S on his chest.

How about the fight scene between Hulk and Abom starts in the city and then 1/4 of the city got smashed by them and then later on as the battle progresses they end up fighting on a volcano crater and when the dormant volcano couln't take the bombardments of the two it suddenly gives in and explodes 5 times more powerful than that of mt. saint helens and 3 times more destructive than the record of mt. pinatubo in asia, a volcano erupting has more power in it than a thousand nukes of 50 mega ton munition, so wouldn't it be awesome to watch the Hulk jumping out from the angry volcano ithout a scratch on him while Abomination gets pulverized for a grand finale?

i would like to see this scene i hope it plays, i've been picturing this in my mind and since it was never shown in the comics or else where(or probably something similar to this was shown in the comics) i guess i'll write it down for now maybe i'll make some drawings later on, ok here it goes:

it starts off with betty doing some transactions in the bank and then suddenly Abomination shows up to rob the bank and a few moments later he was smashing everthing up and betty ends up a hostage along w/other people who are there. Bruce heard the news and was out of the country during this times(somewhere in south america) naturally becomes enraged and turned into the Hulk and after a number of leaps he's in US soil again and right where Abom and betty was.
Hulk came to betty's rescue and carried her away to safety and then got back to stand up to the bully, now the fight's began and the grounds shakes as somethimg like thunder was heard everytime the two titans lands a fist on each other. After a few minutes 1/4 of the city has been pulverized and by now Abom was getting agravated coz he wants to leave the crime scene w/bags full of money and the Hulk is pestering him constanly so he looked around and starts to device a plan of escape when suddenly he saw just beyond the ruins was a naval museum along the boulevard and found a suitable toy for the Hulk to play for a while as he gets away w/his money.
So he got to the shore and found a well preserved war relic called the USS Missouri a naval war ship that was decommissioned around the late '90s and just a few miles from where he was is a football field w/potential victims to divert the Hulk's attention and after a while Abom was dragging the ship of a couple of thousand tons in gross weight and was getting ready to make a huge touch down on 12,000 unaware spectators.
Hulk got to him, but was too late Abom already threw the thing over his head and flying towards the football field, but the Hulk's reflexes was growing stronger by the moment and went after it and as if by a miracle the Hulk got to the stadium before that big chunk of steel did.
The people were amazed and frightened at the same time as they saw the Hulk landed on the football field, some took pictures as others murmured in awe and wonder while the players backed off coz of fear not realizing that there's a greater fear comming from above them.
Hulk positioned himself w/an odd stance and leaps into the air just as the whole crowd saw a falling battle cruiser that was about to crush them, but as it ever was so incredible the Hulk charged himself on that falling ship and slamed his body on to it which deflected the thing away from the masses of hysterical people, the ship fell off a couple of yards from the stadium and on to the parking lot w/a thundering sound and a mild tremor that registered 4.2 on the richter's scale, it's so ironic how people faint and cry after they knew they were saved where as when they were still in trouble they didn't noticed it.

I like the football field thing. And the throw a giant thing and the HULK being a hero and all. Don't think I like the idea of the Abom robbing a bank. Seems silly. I don't think that was ever his thing.

The Hulk came out of the averted disaster unharmed and was more furious than ever, he takes a quick look around and spots the Abomination riding a barge for his get away, by now the Hulk realizes how dangerous it is for them to fight in the city that many innocent people might get hurt so he leaped again to bring Abom to justice and got on to the barge where he was.
Abom looked surprised, but disgusted w/him and commented "you're such a kill joy you big baboon!" Hulk throws a punch and knocks him to the ground, but he's still concious so Hulk picked him up by the arm and spins him and made a tornado throw of Abom like in the video games.
Abom flew 50 miles or more and everytime he hits the ground as if the Hulk had not had enough yet and picks him up again spins him like hell and throws him off for another hundred miles giving no opportunity for the Abomination to recover.
Finally the Hulk realizes that they were away from any nearby town or city so he thought that it should be ok for them to slug it out until the dust settles and see who's the last one standing, Abom was pissed off about how the Hulk handled him and was thinking the same thing about the Hulk so the fight was on! You could see them pass through rocks and monoliths as if they weren't there everytime someone swings a punch until they got to the top of a lonely mountain not realizing that it was a doormant volcano that hasn't erupted for a thousand years.
The two titans continued their quarrel and sometimes they miss and their fists or feet hits the ground. Meanwhile at the United States Geological Survey head quarters the machines starts to detect tremors in that area which woke up a few important people as some rookie franticly reports to his boss "sir i know this is odd, but mt. so and so is showing signs that it's about to blow" and the boss quickly orders a sattelite view to scan the area and check how much the ground has moved in the past few days.
To their suprise sattelite images showed that there were no movement in the past week prior to what their machines recieved which was just moments ago, so they had a helicopter to check it out and pick a boo! two monsters is about to deliberately blow up a sleeping mountain w/their shear strength which was impossible until now.
The USGS alerted the army and General Ross who has an old axe to grind against the Hulk for evading all these years set the alert level to the highest. Suddenly 2 dozen of jet fighters were flying over the Hulk and Abomination, but they were too busy fighting to notice the planes, the general gives the order to fire and then the pilots murmured some fancy air force lines and the missiles were hitting them both, but not doing the military any good Abom and Hulk picked up 3 tons rocks and throws them at the planes, the throw was so powerful that the pilots and their sensors were not able to detect the rocks despite thier size which just shows that these 2 means business about not messing w/them.
In an instant the volcano couldn't handle the blows of the 2 monsters gave in and erupted and was recorded to be the most powerful eruption in world history, as the head of the USGS commented to the press "only the force of the magma rising from underneath the earth has the power to change the surface of the earth despite the fact that the earth's crust is 30 miles thick and mostly of that is billions of tons of rocks, but today it has been proven that there exist a force that equals or perhaps even exceeds the power of the magma and is found in this incredible crature called the Hulk or the ill-fated doctor Bruce Banner as he was known. I think the Hulk is the most powerful being that I have ever seen or will ever be seen again."
Back at the volcano there appeared the Hulk unharmed ready for another sequel!t:

Waking up a doormant volcano is not ridiculous.
If Hulk can make tremors and earthquakes that could be felt thoughout an entire continent he could bust a sleeping mountain!
In case you're wondering how ridiculous this is try to check out the United States Geological Survey and you'll see how the rising magma from 30 miles beneath the earth can change the face of the earth in a day literally, this mostly happens when a volcano is about to erupt.
So the way i see it Hulk's strength is as strong as or more powerful than the pressurized heat of the earth coz he can change the landscape you know, and that would counter Superman's feat lifting an island instead of copying that and make the Hulk look silly.

P.S. and a volcanic eruption that's as powerful as Mt. St. Helens or Mt. Pinatubo has the equivalent destructive force of about 2,000 nuclear bombs at an instant, which in the comics Hulk had survived dozens of nuclear detonations even at ground zero. That be a new trick to watch in the big screens!

You'll know what i mean if you saw some sattelite photos of a volcano prior to the time of its eruption and know this: a volcano consists mainly of super hard granite rocks and weights about millions of tons averagely and yet the magma can reconstruct its surface in a day!
This actually reminds me of the Hulk's feat in the secret wars, lifting a 150 billion tons of mountain, moving a 100 million tons of rock shouldn't be a surprise.

After the volcanic eruption Hulk and Abom got swallowed up by the lava lake and then only Hulk came out alive, as half of his body is still submerged in the molten mud pits and the upper half bursts out of it and screams like hell w/the gleammering lava all over his body and smoke rising from the heat.
-that be great to watch!

there should also be a feat where Hulk supports a bulding and people get rescued from the rooftop by a chopper and then the army realizing what the Hulk was doing turns their attention towards Abomination and blast him to bits w/all they've got.
-this would show Hulk as a hero.

Let's see the Hulk do some incredible feats like in the comics, me i want to see him lift a 4000 ton WWII relic warship and toss it like a toy(nods to GoldGoblin), also slam the ground so hard that he caused a world wide quake having a magnitude of at least 4.2 something, or wake up a doormant volcano. Things that would definitely blow us out of our minds!lol

actually the Island..(N.K.)..that superman lifted was said to be as big as Manhatten island,weighing billions of tons..anyway I'm stoked for the new Hulk film.I would love to see the Hulk lift something like a skyscraper, or a large ship to really show what he can do...

^how big is manhattan island anyway?
by my estimate it shouldn't be more than a couple of 100 million cubic tons(that's actually 3x more weight that a normal ton), but i doubt if it was even a billion tons.
You can ask a geologist about this just to make sure whether my estimates are incorrect.

even if it was the size of an ice burg and FYI an ice burg is roughly the size of an island(manhattan).
it's tip above water is somewhere between 200 feet to 350 feet at least while the rest of it is somehwhat 800 feet or more and should weight no more than a cubic million tons.
As opposed to SR and what supes did, i doubt it was that heavy of a rock even if Lex Luthor said so, besides he was never a scientist.

And now you're stretching. All the caption said was twice the size of earth. Trying to make it appear smaller than it was because the writer didn't get into it's density is an obvious agenda.
