So I'm a big nostalgic freak. It's partly why I'm into action figures. I had a bit of a rough childhood growing up with a severely alcoholic father so I often had to escape that crap reality a lot; to TV shows, toys, and video games. Most of my fonder memories from the last 20 years has been these things. So, here's my question: What's some stuff you miss or loved about the last 20+ years? I'll start off a list:

Ghostbusters
Ninja Turtles (The wide variety of figures and vehicles)
Micromachines
N64's initial release, Goldeneye, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, perfect Dark, THQ wrestling games
The Jim Henson Hour
The Toxic Avengers
Gargoyles
Captain Planet
GI Joe (Again, the variety of figures and vehicles)

Oh, and Resident Evil 2 and 3. Two games that would forever change gaming for me!

Waterworld. It wasn't the plot, the acting, or the huge budget which made me love this movie. It was the concept of the movie. Oh, and the boat.

Ninja Turtles
Power Rangers
Super Mario for the NES(I guess I can play it on the Wii now, but its still not completely the same)

This is actually kind of Funny....Yeaterday I was on Ebay checking Prices of some A-team and Gukes of Hazzard Megos I was thinkgin about buying. When I was a kid I only had murdoch and the General Lee but I reember putting him in there and letting him drive.....I was too young to realize just how potentially awesome that combination could actually be.

Legend of Zelda for N64- Late night marathons taking turns with my buddy zach.

The first time I played Resident Evil 2 on N64- It was a late october night when I was playing. I was low on ammo, low on life and first aid stuff, and I get to the part in the game where zombies start pouring in through open windows. I was really immersed into the game, and it just got to me. I turned it off and couldn't sleep that night.

I'm still trying to beat OoT. Was stuck in the Water Temple for about a year, then finally figured it out a couple of weeks ago. Almost done now though.

I also remember Resident Evil....I hated the gameplay....Hated it...So I would always Navigate while Brice Played.

Oh and Bringing over my TV and PS1 and Using the link Cable with Back to Back TVs for Comand and Conquer red Alert

Water temple was the worst. God I hated that. But I love games that take forever to beat and still keep it fresh enough that you don't get fed up.

I'm still working on Twilight princess. I'm taking it slow though.

I actually haven't started Twilight Princess yet, because

A)Like I said, still haven't beat OoT, and I want to beat that first

B)Also haven't beat Wind Waker, though I'm almost done with that.

C)If I start now, I'll play it all the time and probably fail out of school. So I'm waiting until summer so I can play it then.

D)I'm currently playing Pokemon Sapphire in preparation for Pokemon Diamond.

the ones from kenners/hasbro. not the cheap dc superheroes from toy biz. although they made a riddler figure which i loved.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but one thing I really miss:

Muppet babies. The way they'd spoof pop culture was amazing.

I have some of the TB ones MOC....Since I damn near finished up my X-men/X-force and Marvel Superheroes MOC set I started up a DC MOC 90s TB Set....then gave up
